i agree, jones by how much, grimes and howe for the placings. my smoky would have to be trengove. on the surface he doesnt look like he has had a great year, but if they are judged by the job the coaches are asking him to do, then his stats suggest his been doing that. Second at the club for handballs and tackles and third for overall disposals. dont think he will win but i think he will go better than most would suggest.

in total agreement. i was at a market research thing at the club earlier in the year. the subject of cam came up and a few sinister grins appeared on certain faces. there was a chap there who actually is involved at the club. he whispered something to the guy next to him. when i asked what that was all about he didnt elaborate.there are many things that clearly occured in the lead up to his near dismissal that have not been made public. for the fact that he is still there and has a new 3 year contract tells me many people may have been wrong. the whisperers need to man up and speak out if they have something to say. I dont proclaim to be a financial boffin, but what i do know is that i have on a number of occasions been moved by his passion for the club. these are the sorts of people i want working for the club.

one of the funniest things i saw yesterday was joel mac chasing petrenko to the goal square. it was like a road runner cartoon. just to be clear, joel was not the road runner.

totally agree, i only noticed the stats at 3/4 time and we have improved a lot in all areas since the start of the season. the telling stat was goals scored from turnovers. they were huge and really was the story of the game. the fact is we have improved and there is something to be hopeful about.

Apparently that rocket scientist Healy was dicussing the selwood reprimand and likened it to the reiwoldt incident when he was injured and then harrased by a couple of Brisbane players. he dobbed in Brad Scott, while his brother was in the studio. Only problem is that Brad was not one of the culprits. As they go to the break you can hear Chris ask if Healy is going to apologise to Brad. the audio was later taken down. No apology or explanation was forthcoming. I ask you this, where is the integrity?

i have heard too many commentators who know footy (malthouse being one) say that when the bailey game plan worked it looked great but you would never win a premiership playing that game plan. Neeld has had to start from scatch. he has implemented structures bit by bit through the season as lumping all of it on them at once wouldnt work.
