  1. Troll much?
  2. I thought it was quite obvious i was talking about Ben Kennedy from the draft...
  3. Melb take: Mitch Brown + Pick 15 (And Viney 2nd round) Melb Give: Gysberts + Pick 13 Geelong take: Caddy and Gysberts Geelong Give: First round pick #15 and Mitch Brown GC take: Tippet GC give: Caddy + 2nd round draft pick #21 Adelaide take: Pick #13 and pick #21 Adelaide give: Tippett Best I could come up with...
  4. What we want: Viney 2nd round What GC want :Tippet and pick #2 What Adelaide want: Good draft pick for Tippet What Geelong want: Caddy and Gysberts Anyway to drum up some type of 4 way here?
  5. Players like Hogan are a dime a dozen. I still would go for him. We have seen time and time again that mids can be developed from within. Beams is a perfect example of this, as is Barlow. Power forwards on the other hand can't be in my opinion. They either have it or they don't. Sadly our last few attempts to find one have failed as our recruiter was unable to determine the difference between having it or not.
  6. With pick 13 for Kennedy, Stef Martin and a 2nd rounder for Wellingham or if Viney slips to 2nd round then just trade pick 4 for Wellingham.
  7. Martin for Wellingham in a heartbeat Why hang onto spuds who keep us in 16th place on the ladder
  8. A combo of Viney, Wellingham and Kennedy injected into the midfield with Hogan/Stringer up forward would make a major difference. A small forward or 2 picked up late in draft/rookie/FA and our gaps will be much more filled. Midfield of Sylvia, Jones, Wellingham, Trengove, Kennedy, Viney, Howe and Grimes is quite attractive.
  9. Why do people want Jimmy Bartel Isnt he turning 30 next year? Someone suggested a 4 year contract for him. You have to be kidding, his already slowing up... Pick #4 (Higher pick then he was taken for as an 18 yr old) + Pies first pick + Gysberts All in all 3 first round picks for a 30 year old. You have to be kidding
  10. I would suggest Rischitelli and Caddy for pick #4
  11. Pretty sure as soon as GC say 'Pass' at the start of October, Jesse Hogan will be on his way to AAMI Park
  12. Swap pick 3 and 4 for Caddy, Toy and pick 2?
  13. Kennedy , Wines, Garlett or Stringer will all end up better players then Caddy Please dont use pick 13 on him
  14. Apparently we are going hard for Wellingham. Maybe Gysberts and Martin as a pair will go for him. 2 NQRs for player who will be in our best 3 mids. Good trade imo
  15. Pick 3 - Stringer Pick 4 - Wellingham (trade) + pick 17 Pick 13 - Caddy Trade Pick 17 - Vlastuin 2nd rounder - Viney FA - Monfries, Byrnes End up with Wellingham, Caddy, Vlastuin and Viney in midfield. Stringer to help Clarke up forward with Monfries and Byrnes at their feet. Good combination of draftees and experienced players. I think Neeld would like the look of something like this. I also think one of our half backs should be traded off, maybe Joel Mac, Davis or even a Tapscott as I can already see Tynan developing into a decent half back
  16. Richmond stars all OOC next year. Cotchin, Martin, Riewoldt. I wouldn't mind using our 2013 'warchest' on them.
  17. I think that this would be a fair trade Martin + Pick 13 for Wellingham and pick 17
  18. Care to name those players? Any interesting names?
  19. Cotchin by a mile imho Carlton messed up and missed out on a potential dual brownlow medalist.
  20. Wellingham, Toumpas, Viney, Hogan Pick 13 and Martin. Make it happen. We need a player exactly like him. He works alot harder then alot of people give him credit for and would be another Mitch Clarke under Neeld at the dees.
  21. Martin and Davis
  22. May force GWS's hand in the draft to take Grundy at #1
  23. RR has disappeared
  24. Can this thread be locked? There are already about a million threads about this
