  1. Dawes and Wellingham for picks #13, #45 and Martin End up with Viney, Wellingham, Toumpas(or another high mid), pick #26 and Dawes
  2. Looks like we are a good chance. We can trump the Dogs pretty easy on this as all our picks are 1 higher then theirs each round.
  3. http://www.afl.com.au/tabid/208/default.aspx?newsid=149064 Giants wanting to join in the party. Unfortunately I do not buy this for a second. They would be fools to pass on Whitfield and Grundy. Trying to milk an under the table deal here not to bid i assume
  4. That's twice in 2 days his been on the radio, shouldn't he be out and about leaving no stone unturned rather then doing radio interviews?
  5. Ah ok, that's fair enough. To be honest I don't think their is any super differences between Toumpas/O Rourke/Viney/Wines and we will end up with 2 of them. In relation to Grundy I think that we will only take him if we do not pick up Hogan or Dawes. I think we are playing for 3 of Viney/Toumpas/Wines/O'Rourke/Kennedy/Garlett/Mcrae/Wellingham/Caddy/Vlastuin and 1 of Dawes/Hogan/Grundy
  6. Really? I heard he had one, not sure about the worsening part. Nevertheless he was just used their as a suggestion. I am sure if he is not worth the pick we will learn more towards O Rourke or Mayes or even Grundy
  7. It was mentioned how much he wanted before they even met...
  8. I am suspicious to why suddenly the dockers and west coast have gone cold on him...
  9. Team with the pick before them will not forget to bid These are professionals.
  10. I think I said this in another thread, though it seems the Dees are keen to pick up 1 gorilla and 3 mids with its first 4 picks this year. At the moment if GC do not bid for Viney we look at getting something like #3 Toumpas/Wines, #4 Hogan, #13 Wellingham/Garlett/Mcrae/Kennedy and #26 Viney If they do Bid then something like may be feasible #3 Viney, #4 Toumpas/Wines, #13 Wellingham/Garlett/Mcrae/Kennedy and #26 Dawes Both results net us 3 mids (including Viney) and a Gorilla forward. I doubt we would pass up on him though it would mean that we have to take Dawes instead of Hogan.
  11. Isn't he going to the USA with Buddy? I think we will be lucky to even get an audience from him
  12. If GC Bid on Viney it could go like this #3 Viney, #4 Toumpas/Wines, #13 Kennedy/Garlett/Stringer #26 Dawes = 1 Gorilla + 3 mids If GC dont bid it could go like this #3Toumpas/Wines, #4 Hogan, #13Kennedy/Garlett/Stringer #26 Viney = 1 Gorilla + 3 mids I really like this play by the MFC to mitigate the cost of drafting Viney at #3 note: fk Caddy, kid already looks like he had a bad attitude and isn't worth putting up pick #13 for
  13. Think we are keen as Neeld wants another Gorilla and we may not have the luxury of pick #4 to use on Hogan anymore without hurting our chances of bolstering up our midfield.
  14. I don't understand, where does Grundy come into this?
  15. Why is this manager talking like Wellingham is a free agent. "He will decide before he flies out" What is this crap, its up to Collingwood to decide and trade season doesn't start until next week. Talk about the arrogance of some managers. Almost as rich as Caddy trying to dictate terms.
  16. Adding to the Viney Bluff I assume. Will be used to force the Saints hand to use pick 12 to beat us.
  17. Pick 13 and Martin for Dawes and Wellingham. Take Viney 2nd round and our loot could look like this. Toumpas, Hogan, Dawes, Viney, Wellingham I would be happy with that.
  18. Hope we can make a deal with both Martin and pick 13 for both Wellingham and Dawes. Especially before pick 13 loses currency from FA compo picks.
  19. Dawes and Wellingham for Pick 13 and Martin I could handle...
  20. Please god do not give up anything more then a 3rd rounder for Dawes. If Martin/Pick 13/Gysberts are on the table here I will have a fit.
  21. I still think its more of an example but I am happy to agree to disagree to the meaning of the word. Lets keep this thread about Viney. That said my point was that yes we will probably take him at #3 though I wouldn't say it is 100% chance. If we take him at #3 I will have the confidence that he was worth it. If we don't then their would be an obvious reason why and I am sure we will find out that reason come draft day.
  22. Pick 17 (Wellingham trade) and 18. Maybe Dawes
  23. Any quieter teams then the MFC so far this FA period? Really wish we wouldn't put out articles with quotes such as 'We will leave no stone unturned' It only adds to the disappointment when not much happens.
