The MFC has an onus to take the best available players at pick 3 + 4.

At the games I attended this year I found him to be the hardest chasing player in our team. I saw him sprint 200m across the field to stop an opponent on many occasions.

clearly you know nothing of next years draft. There are better KPF in it and we wont need to wait for them.

I would take Stringer over Hogan as he can play next year. We can try draft a forward next year or just trade for one since Hogan cant play until 2014

I was just watching one of those draft combine clips and they mentioned that clubs now had an international list which they can have up to 6 international players listed on this. Does anyone know if we are keen on kick starting this list?

Wines I also see is a culture changer and you know because he is mates with Viney that together they will set a trend and have chemistry. Chemistry being something we seriously lack right now, we have no players who seem to have any with each other. I would prefer someone not quite as good but who would bring chemistry into the team and work well with other recruits (Viney).

Couch wont make the cut. You forget we have Blease, Howe and Grimes who are more outside mids....who just need to get better. Insides - Sylvia Jones Magner Viney Trenners, Wines Outsides - Grimes, Howe, Kennedy, Blease I dont know what Stringer would be but lets get him anyway.

I think Toumpas will go at #2 If GWS has picks 5 and 6 I would take Grundy with the Scully compo pick and say paybacks a bit#c If not I would take Wines, Stringer and hopefully Kennedy at 13. I would pass on Hogan as we most likely will have a pick in the top 7 next year and apparently there are a few KPPs in next year's draft so we can just take one then instead if needed. Stringer, Clark, Dawes, Byrnes, + 2 small forwards from late picks and rookies will be plenty for our forward line.

Those examples are irrelevant. How much Byrnes is earning comes into play when compensation for losing F/A's are awarded. Like i said earlier, its food for thought to know whether or not we should expect a compensation pick.

Anyone know when Viney can start training at MFC if we take him? Can he start with the rest of the boys or does he need to wait until after the ND to be on par with the rest of the new recruits. Any restrictions in place?

Not just what I said before, it would be good to know what type of coin he is on as it is a factor into what type of compensation we receive from Moloney/Rivers signing with other teams. It would just be food for thought to know if we were/were not going to get a pick.

I care, as it comes out of my membership fees. And it is nice to know what kind of ballpark he is in terms of player payment, he didn't seem to hesitate at all while most other players do when it comes to the MFC.
