  1. Nope. I think his trade value would be 5-10 personally. Anyone paying more would be cray
  2. Yes i understand that, though F/S is after trade period so it would be quite difficult to facilitate trades prior to F/S period under the table. Especially when the teams he suggested 'Adelaide/Collingwood' are playing finals footy. Though reading your post does raise the issue that the Bulldogs could do the same as insert the clause that GC do bid on Viney :/
  3. http://www.bigfooty....-player.973206/ Knightmare said: ↑ "While Tyson has played limited games he is still every bit worth a top 5 selection and will still develop into an excellent player and Richmond are right identifying him as a worthwhile talent. Richmond might have to manufacture a trade for Melbourne's pick 4 with an established player if they want any shot at Tyson. In Richmond's situation to do this I'd be looking to move Vickery (hoping Melbourne view him as a key forward) along with pick 9 and likely some later draft pick upgrades to move Melbourne up some more selections later in the draft to make it a more equitable trade. Pick 9 might net Melbourne Josh Caddy getting Melbourne Caddy + Vickery for pick 4 which I expect with Neeld voicing an interest in adding established players would be an intriguing possibility."
  4. Read what I said, 'it was rumored' Don't hate the messenger. Was in reference to Richmond getting a solid pick for Tyson.
  5. How could action be possibly be taken before F/S bidding? You harp on about the rules however you seem oblivious to the rule that you cant trade players before F/S. So what possible action is possible here...
  6. The fact that he isn't proposing a trade makes it less credible? He is arguing to do favors for other clubs and shutting down other posts though is unable to provide any examples/scenarios
  7. Apparently GWS have already demanded both picks 5 & 6 for MD1 which the Bulldogs rejected. They are both holding firm. Brisbane are in the box seat for Tippet as they have pick #8 which would be a perfect fit. GC are going to somehow find value in Caddy + miscellaneous picks and players they can muster together in an attempt to get Tippet though I don't like their chances. Richmond also rumored to be contemplating picks #9 with Vickery in an attempt to score one of our picks. So we could end up using pick #4 for Vickery and pick #9 (Caddy) This would work well for us i think as it would mean GC are on our terms and Viney to 2nd round Would result in a draft pool of - Pick 3, Vickery, Caddy, Pick 13, Viney 4 Mids and a new tall up forward...or Hogan, Vickery, Caddy, Mid (Pick 13), and Viney
  8. Thank you, at least everyone here isn't as daft as Rassilon and can see the logic behind it.
  9. The rule that you help people and that they ll help you back? Unfortunately those rules don't apply in competition. If they did then everyone would just hold hands and have sing-a-longs and it would be a very dull game. Competition is about taking any advantage you can get. Please stop trolling and making statements that you cant even apply scenarios or examples for and then trying to evade the questions that you can't answer with ignorant statements
  10. So simple not even you can provide logical reasoning behind it or realistic scenarios eh
  11. Rules have changed, he would need to go into the ND first and would probably be drafted between pick 20 - 30
  12. Use my imagination? So you talk all this crap and then you cant even provide a realistic scenario? How would us making a deal with Adelaide push Tippets value up unless we were actually prepared to use pick #4 for him. You are just trolling now, you have no idea what you are talking about. You are talking about helping other teams out for no reason. Thats the dumbest logic I have read in a long time. Hey while we are at it lets just give GWS our pick #3 for one of their rejects, and send Vlad a free gym membership. Lets also give Gysberts to Geelong as by helping them this will definitely let us take Viney with a 2nd rounder. =
  13. You constantly harp on about us helping Adelaide though you never even put any potential or realistic scenarios in place. And yes we would need to bluff as I doubt we would want to pay pick #4 for Tippet though it would add doubt to the minds of GC which could result in them wanting to hang onto their pick #2 as insurance I have asked you once and I will ask you again. Why on earth would we want to help another club during trade period?
  14. We should bluff about putting pick #4 on the table for Tippet. May be enough to cause GC to want to hold onto their #2 pick
  15. Can already see Sylvia and Wellingham getting on like a fat kid and cake
  16. Well now that GWS have a 'War' with Richmond its less of an incentive to bid on Viney as they will be helping Richmond out by doing so.
  17. What deal would you suggest? Especially if Viney is one of their objectives... And why on earth would 'we walk to Brisbane to provide them with an unbeatable deal for Tippet' This benefits us how?
  18. I have no idea why you keep harping on about a 17yr old anyway, they have not shown any major interest in trading off pick #2 for a 17yr old. They have shown interest in Viney and Tippet. Put 1 and 1 together. Pick #2 = Good for Viney, overs for Tippet. Logical outcome = Pick #2 for Viney and whatever else they can scrummage together for Tippet.
  19. Best outcome would be for GC to trade pick #2 for Tippet + Adelaides first rounder. (Pick 18ish?) Only way I can see pick #2 coming into play
  20. That makes no sence. Draft pick #2 will not be used for Tippet. And where have they said they are keen on a 17yr old. Whats preventing them from taking Viney at 2 then trading off Caddy as a package with their 2nd rounder and using what they get back from that to snare Tippet.
  21. GC want both Tippet and pick #2. At the moment they are trying to use Caddy to get some lever-edge. Pick #2 for Tippet is overs. Pick 5 - 10 would be about right. So question is how can they use Caddy to get that type of pick? Caddy + 2nd rounder for Richmonds/Bulldogs/Carltons first rounder is only way I can see it being feasible, sadly I dont think those teams have expressed interest in Caddy.
  22. He turns 30 next year. He wont be of 'Bartel' Quality next year. Better off throwing 3 first rounders and trying to get Cotchin
  23. How is it a miss analysis? And why on earth would we put pick #4 on the table to assist Adelaide? GC have to fork out enough needed and currently they don't want to.
  24. Biggest issue is that Gold Coast has nothing that we want to warrant us giving them pick #4 unless they are willing to part with Bennell or O'Meara for it. Realistically GC want more then they can afford or are willing to give. At the moment they are trying to manipulate a trade for Caddy which will buy them Tippet but any team would be a fool to think they are of the same value. Imho its either pick #2 or Tippet for GC
  25. Its not his first post, its his first post on his new account. Just another DL recycling accounts to push an agenda
