I agree with this, still to early to determine 2007 onwards however they still should of shown more. Its been unfortunate that players drafted after 2007 have been crucified with injury also.

Fitzy is doing well at Casey, Cook has put on 10kg since being at the club and has all the traits to be a good forward & Watts is better suited up the ground like a Richo role on the wing by the looks. Not all doom and gloom, Fitzy may become our no.1 ruckman the way we are going!! Although I dont think he will string many together.

Yeah that's it mate. How do Carlton compete when they are over $7 million in debt, it frustrates me. I'm not sure of anyone else but we need a star. There would have to be some homesicks boys soon but again, they're not stars yet.

Thats the problem Clint, Schwab has had to much to say and too much of an influence on certain football matters with recruiting, teams, players etc. I got this impression when I first spoke with him. It is obviously still going on to a certain extent and I expect Schwabs head to roll if the trend continues. The players and coaches have known it for over 12 months, just think back to the 186 weekend. A lot of truth to come out of that.

Nothing overwhelms me mate. That is the for the club and players to sort out. Meanwhile, whilst I am very disgruntled Im not going to let it affect me in a way where I give up. I may be angry, annoyed, upset, frustrated & disgusted with on field performance and everything else that comes everyday being a Dee's supporter, but NO WAY am I prepared to "give up" like this thread says. Gday mate. Its fair to say his and everyones confidence is pretty shattered down there. He knows he needs to lift and so does everyone. He did say that the backline has been peppered though which i cant disagree with!!! I think theres more going on down there than we think, unfortunately I cant elaborate.

Well if the players tackled at the hips instead of the neck it wouldn't of been that bad!!! Although WCE were clever in the way they dropped in a tackle.

Yeah but Geelong also put up a lot more sooner than we have - thats why its so frustrating to hear peoples excuses. 2004 - Made Wizard Cup grand final - finished 4th in AFL season - Made a pre-lim I think. 2005 - Finished 6th - Was it the pre-lim they lost to Sydney this year? 2006 - Finished 10th but won the NAB cup. 2007 - onwards the onslaught began. I guess my point is they were well on their way before 2007 after their draft picks and after all of our top draft picks we are still at the bottom. Frustrating!

Yes times have changed incredibly over the last 10-15 years thats for sure. Maybe they have run out of patience because they havent got anything else to blame!!! Oh well, I am very frustrated, but I will keep supporting and doing whatever I can. Still wont stop me from being angry when they dish out the tripe like the last 2 weeks!!! But I still love them.

Combination of both for me. First round picks we have dismally floundered. And development hasnt helped this either. I guess if you draft the right players to start with that will lead by example then maybe the players will develop better and faster. A vicious cycle, but getting the right players to a club can lift everyone around them.

I would like to think most of us are united and will do whatever to keep this club alive. But on the other hand I think patience is beginning to wear very thin, especially for the older generation.

Everything is just depressing isnt it. Why wouldnt the players take it among theirselves to do the extra work instead of using juction oval as an excuse. It drives me that this club is so weak!! I feel for you older generation who have witnessed more floggings than some of us, you are all strong people. How can a sport, a club, make me so angry!!!

Probably keeping Cameron Schwab on after we had sacked him. I dont fully know for sure but I still think there is some fishy business going on behind the scenes that we dont know about. Time for a fresh change at the top. McLardy will be great I think but Schwab seems to not have the full support of the players. Also did we ever hear about the outcome of that business report?? Not sure of the name of it now but I'd bet there are a few hidden answers in there as we surely can't be this bad, can we?
