  1. So actually how was training...? I'd be keen to know how the session went and how the newcomers handled it?
  2. Haha classic!! Maybe the dees should watch it for some inspiration!
  3. Looks a lot like Lucas Cook to me. They may be our next generation key forwards but who knows, early days.
  4. Very funny people that's for sure.. Check out there website if you have time, it's got some funny stuff on there!
  5. Haha nah mate, I'm just a dees member who lives in Darwin and watches you posters like a hawk! Keep up the good work, exciting times ahead!
  6. Dan Nicholson was also playing in the amateurs too but everyone loves him so what's the difference? It was only a question, not an opinion.
  7. So Im guessing Williams sounds like he play round 1 at FF with Clark at CHF??
  8. Leigh Williams He is a powerful key forward, an excellent kick for goal and a one touch player. He is a very good contested mark.
  9. Pick 42. James Magner From Sandringham Zebras, he is a 24-year-old player. He is a clearance specialist with a relentless attack on the footy.
  10. And I would like to make a special mention to KC from Casey - Reports are always great and very informal.
  11. For me. 6. Tom Sunberg - Smokie!! 24. Couch 42. Leigh Williams 59. Burnett - Sth Freo
  12. Whispering Jack & RPFC for me. RPFC's time and effort with the KPI's this year was a pleasure to read. Not many people take the time out to help others during the season. Also his short no nonsense posts are quite funny but make sense. Basicly most people here seem to be of good character which is excellent as we are all red and blue but the posters who belittle others just for their opinion and take it too far need to take a good hard look at themselves. Some posters may not be as priviliged as us health wise and what you say may do more damage than good so be respectful!! I know Im just about to do it but anyone who drags "the liar" into every thread is annoying, Geelong moved on quickly and they won another flag!! Get rid of the disease from your minds! Some people were right and wrong on "the liars" departure but really at the end of the day everyone was just guessing. Other good posters for a newcomer like me are: belzebub59, Bhima, why you little, Old dee, Old55, Range Rover and many more. Keep up the good work everyone and hats off to everybody that provides us with info and training reports its very much appreciated!
  13. Thanks that's exactly what it is, for some reason I thought jamar had been elevated. Cheers for your help and goodluck to the dees today.
  14. Ok correct me if I'm wrong, I may have missed something. I was under the impression that we were allowed 8 rookies as I thought the AFL increased it. We have retained Nicholson, Evans and Lawrence but we only get 4 more picks. Where have I stuffed up? Cheers.
  15. That's why Misson and Craig are experts and would know a lot more than all of us combined... I'm sure they have it sussed. My team trained under lights for 4 years and won 4 daytime premierships... It's all in the head really.
  16. I would presume that two of the best fitness/sports science guys in Misson and Craig would know how to schedule training and monitor the boys continuously.
  17. Also, isn't that why we have hired Craig and Misson? I'm sure they're right on top of how the boys are training... Not for our judgement IMO.
  18. Isn't that why they have 2 weeks off at Xmas. Conditioning now couldn't hurt.
  19. And do they should be after the 2011 debacle!! They are only getting what they deserve! AFL standard training, not too much to ask. Had it too easy for too long...
  20. Hi Chelly. To be honest who wouldn't struggle in this intense humidity! I played golf here today and it's sweltering! Thank god for beer!!
  21. So how was training? Does anyone have any decent info? Sounds like they had a full on day but the sounds of Trengove, Frawley, Sellar, Blease...
  22. Hi All. Im new to here, long time follower and wanted to have my say on Waylen as I can see conflicting stories, hope this helps. I live in Darwin and Waylen plays for the same club as my wife, who plays hockey at the Waratahs. Our next door neighbor is the president and we have been going to watch him and the big Fev who has been putting on a great show for us considering the delivery at times and the intense humidity. Just on Waylen, hes a tall skinny kid with heaps of flair and potential. Takes alot of hangers and is good on the lead and a straight kick for goal, and ridiculously evasive. My honest faults on Waylen is he doesnt chase or tackle and if the ball doesnt come his way he seems to mope around and sulk. No doubting his ability though. For those who have been questioning him the last month he has had a knee injury which had him sidelined for a week and was proppy for a couple of games. Last game he also spent alot of time in the ruck as Waratahs had Fev, Kayne Pettifer and Beau Runnalls in the forward line. Anyway it doesnt look like hes coming to the Dees but just wanted to add that his recent low patch was maybe due to an injury. Hope this helps.
