The endeavour shown by the players for four quarters was good. The skill in trying to hand ball so many times without getting the ball out of the defensive 50 was the problem. A lot of talk about players being fatigued. Looking spent when they come off and go to the bench. That's what I want to see more of. If they are spent they have definitely had a crack. Not like in the past when coming off they couldn't blow out a candle.

Coming back from a broken leg ain't easy. He also got further injuries which required a lot of rehab over the past pre season. As much as I liked his last quarter and his past few VFL games, I'd still like him to wear the vest this week. The injuries may mean otherwise. I always thought Lethal Leigh was a great player and quite obviously a good coach. But his comments during the game were bemusing. I must say I was at the game"but had to watch it again and again when I got home. Lethal said a few times that Hogan showed promise, but will never be a play maker, only a finisher. He wasn't watching the game I was at, What a [censored]! I have been censored. Since when does T&$sser need censoring?

Something has imploded in the inner sanctum of the club! The whole team didn't want to play today. The writing was on the ball at the warm up before the game. The midfield disposal is atrocious. Jones, Tyson Viney rarely hit targets, or kick to a space to lead to. Cross has never been a great kick. Toumpas can't get the ball. Salem is best disposal and sitting in back pocket this week. Lumumba kicks all over the shop.Brayshaw needs to work a bit on his kicking. This is getting boring, it shows how many just can't kick under pressure.

I don't think those words would have any affect on Clarkson or the players. Although Clarkson may use it against us in his pre match talk. Why do our guys open their big mouths. Talk is cheap.
