Open Letter To The Melbourne Football Club
Return to Glory replied to inanunda's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'm thinking of adopting an Open Letter approach in respect to all those who I may struggle with from time to time, starting with my boss and ending with my wife. I'll let you know how it goes. Obviously wording is key.- 50 replies

Fair call. He was very good. I just like how Hunt continued to take on the game when quite a few didn't.
-
Just got back. Hunt - clearly our best.

Who are the Dees chasing for 2017 and at what cost?

Great stuff Grey Wolf. I'm assuming you've got your standard hydroponic set up? -
If Brisbane beat Geelong I'm a chance to run the 100 metres in Tokyo.

I told ya coppa, looking for me dough

Which I did, outside of a Primary School

Put it on a quaddie, loading up on the last leg. Or donate it to the school, demanding they rename the canteen 'Krazy Jays'

Around The Grounds - ROUND 21
Return to Glory replied to Deemented Are Go!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
I've just given myself a couple of uppercuts. You're right of course. It was a lapse and won't happen again. -

Frighteningly BBO, I did. Although how much of it was anger at Geelong for winning I don't know. Maybe if a team becomes perennial losers we stop hating them? I know I don't hate Carlton as much as I did. -

Over the past decade I've developed a hatred of Geelong. Scott and Joel Selwood relentlessly ducking today reaffirms why I cannot stand them. Go Tiges. -
It's fair to say we'd want McCarthy, a mid and a draft pick
-
Agreed. The club has done all it could to sell itself but it's a two way street. I'm a big fan but he does need to be careful that he doesn't become the Incredible Sulk.

Yes. It was a horrible loss. Pass the hose through the window.

GAMEDAY - Round 21 (GROUNDHOG DAY)
Return to Glory replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Based on the comments here I just assumed we lost by 186 points. You could imagine my surprise when I find out that we've had a great win. -

I liked Crean as well but I share your sentiment Biffen. -

Norf getting a touch up. Nice. Nicer if it wasn't Hawthorn. -

Drove through Elizabeth many years ago. Makes Doveton look like the Amalfi Coast. -
You may well be right but I'd be very disappointed if we traded ANB.
-
Had to look him up to remember.
-
Fyfe for Terlich. Straight swap.
-
To be fair, I didn't see his GWS games but the couple of game's I saw at Carlton were mind-numbingly awful. Who's our player?
-
I do not exaggerate when I say Jaksch is perhaps the worst AFL player in the last decade, at the very least.

Tom McDonald (and Oscar) SIGNS.

I think you're right. I hope you're right. Would solve some problems when we come up against those big forwards. -

Great news. Now someone get Oscar twenty pies and five snot blocks. Looking at that picture, he couldn't knock the skin off a rice pudding
