Well, they've handed us some shitsandwiches over the last few years but this one had some extra topping.

Feel sick.

Someone slap Petracca across the face and tell him to wake up. Bit over this man -child slack arse.

Essendon VFL v Casey Demons - VFL Round 13
Return to Glory replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
Funny stuff -
Someone please advise me as to who to barrack for. I'm assuming that a West Coast loss gives us a better chance at the top four but an Adelaide loss solidifies our position in the eight. I don't really look at other team's draws (out of laziness) other than it would be good to play an Adelaide team that's shut up shop. Same with Hawthorn versus GWS I guess.

I didn't think he was that bad either Picket. The shot on an angle was poor but he looked dangerous on occasions albeit short of a gallop. -

You clearly didn't see the previous one he was rocking. This latest one's a work of art compared to it. And this is the first time that I've seen his head in the game for the entire game. Exciting. -

If we picked up Bedford it would mean Dion Johnstone's future would be under threat I would have thought. Dion needs to get a move along. -
Amen brother, amen.

We've tread on this banana peel before. Let's just win against St Kilda before the sky punching.

Ling is woeful but Derwayne is next level shite. He's really got it all - lack of knowledge, repetition, smugness, absolute bias, little effort in pronunciation of names. And he packs every bit of this into every single game. And can always be relied upon the ratchet it up a bit at the Cattery. It's at the point where I now applaud his capacity to maintain a career.
-
And Rohan is a dud
-
Parker has been unbelievable.
-
Ling's commentary is putrid and repetitive.
-
Still, could you imagine if it was Carlton piecing together the medical report. The poor bugger would never play again.
-
Now bear with me here. A couple of seasons ago I watched a young Freo player carve us up at the G. What I noticed was his capacity to pinpoint targets inside 50. He didn't kick on for them but it wasn't because of talent. There were other issues at play. Time to give Balic a run. Offers more than Stretch and provides the spread we're after.
-
So he's been found guilty three times for striking and never got weeks. I genuinely believe that would be a different outcome if it were not for it being GWS.
-
They're not serious. Should go for 6 minimum and his record is very poor. But, you know, GWS is still that project that must succeed. Bring in some bullshite biomechanic and Harris Andrews may find that he's suspended for headbutting Cameron's elbow. I have no faith in the impartiality of the competition.

You could make a reasonable case that Gold Coast are the most insipid professional sports team in Australia. They may as well rename themselves BYE.

Great to know that umpires Curtis Deboy and Sam Hay are born and bred South Aussies. How does that work? As for Matthew Nichols, he's every Hawthorn supporter's wet dream but was the ump who told Max off when he punched the ball away a while back.
-
Max is right. I can handle a loss when the players have had a crack.
-
We were nowhere near as poor as some are suggesting. Port are in great home form and we didn't have things go our way. It's a loss that hurts but I suspect it's one of those painful lessons that will hold us in good stead as the season progresses.

I saw that McQueen and I was not sure what to make of it. Was it a swipe at Carlton? I assumed so. He's right in what he says in that a positive culture spreads just as quickly as a negative culture. I'm assuming it is referencing off the field as well as on? The only thing I'd also add is having great players can paper over the cracks a little.
