  1. Not denying they're a big club but I reckon Richmond now has as many faux supporters as Hawthorn when they were travelling. And that's saying something.
  2. Top 4 it is Ben E. You told me this season was an aberration and I'm willing, albeit reluctantly, to accept your wisdom on the matter. Burgess, yeah that's his name. And Inokashira Park it is.
  3. Not sure if I've created a new topic before so forgive me if this bloke's been covered. But I do like the look of Brodie Kemp, given we will probably be bumped down one. https://www.espn.com.au/afl/story/_/id/26483254/shades-bont-brodie-kemp-continues-rise He did his knee in July? but at 192 cm and with acceleration in the contest, he appeals. In a perfect world we'd split our pick and get another inside the first round (doubt it). It's whether the club can be patient, knowing that he wouldn't make his debut until the 2020 Prelim. And besides, I can't get my head around a Caleb Serong at 178cm as a pick three. Wonder if anyone else here has him as high as me?
  4. A few things stuck out for me last night. Firstly, Fyfe is an extraordinary talent but is also just as impressive off the field. When he spoke about preparation and dedication to the 'craft' of leadership, it was hard not to reflect on where we're at as a club in respect to this. Secondly, he was number 20 in the draft. His journey was not a simple one but it reinforces that the elite of our game are not often the number one draft picks. Finally, what I wouldn't give for us to find an out and out midfield star like him....just one in my lifetime.
  5. If Anderson is available and we don't pick him we may as well shut up shop. Or re-draft Lucas Cook
  6. Max Gawn is a champion.
  7. I'm backing Stephenson to make a difference. So is he.
  8. In terms of coaching nous, Leon Cameron makes Mark Neeld look like Norm Smith.
  9. She's been known to misspell words. I'd put her on a front loaded contract.
  10. We are effectively fielding a team of dwarves.
  11. Melbourne v Sydney on Friday night is must-see TV. Two teams desperate to remain in touch of the top eight.
  12. A game plan devised in a sheltered workshop
  13. Funnily enough i thought we were a sneaky chance today. Good judge.
  14. If you look at the Suns list, there is some serious talent there. Lukosius, King, Miller, Martin, Dawson, two metre Peter, Day Their top end talent is right up there. For them to be 40 pts down at half time against a depleted Collingwood suggests they're readying their top two draft picks pitch. What I'm really saying is I want Anderson.
  15. Damn you ET. Very funny. And possibly very true.
  16. Nah, back in a top end draft pick to kick it into the 50 in a manner that's different to a mongrel punt.
  17. Pull yourself together Beetle. Simple.
  18. He can't. I'm worried to the extent that I wonder as to his value going forward. Maybe a bit alarmist. Carry on as normal. Rework our posts from this year. Couple of name changes depending on whether Oscar and ANB are with us.
  19. Dimmy, I think you expressed it better than me. It's turgid footy and it doesn't benefit his fellow midfielders at all, let alone players up the ground. The closest player to him in terms of style is maybe Luke Parker but Parker works to a plan. I'll be phucked if I know what JV's plan is. And when he does get it he now kicks it up in the air sideways.
  20. Toby Bedford for ANB Oscar McDonald with a witches hat
  21. He's not alone in this but he's been exposed of late for mine.
