NON-MFC: Round 10, 2022
Is it just me or is Carlton getting a sensational run with the umps?
-
POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs West Coast
I cannot listen to Kelli Underwood. Excruciating.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Just about to post the same thing. Just watched a Crows player mugged as he chased whilst on the mark. Ump was right on the spot.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Sam Mitchell always looks perpetually smug to me. Maybe not tonight. Hopefully, he'll get a phone call from the all - knowing Jeff Kennett to put a ribbon around today.

NON-MFC: Round 8, 2022
Just wondering if there's a threat to our 186 up in Brisbane?

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill
I thought Rosman was in everything

CASEY: Rd 06 vs Box Hill
For mine, Rosman looks the best prospect for us based on today. Looks too good for this level.

NON-MFC: Round 07, 2022
I agree, but even GWS (franchise) seems to have players who play for the club. And GWC seems to have no discernible system, just goals through talent of few.

NON-MFC: Round 07, 2022
Wind GC up. Soulless club designed to make fat cat execs feel good about themselves.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
Very happy for Bedford. A game which could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

NON-MFC: Round 07, 2022
May make this one look like a modern day classic

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Great game

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Was thinking the same Dees. I'm sure Goody is all over it.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Lance gets a fair run with the umps these days. I've watched him throw two handballs and a shaky free kick for a shot on goal.

CHANGES: Rd 07 vs Hawthorn
I'd like to get 'Bill' Laurie in as sub if we are looking to ease some young talent in. Thought he had some very good moments today.

AFL Friend or Foe
Frankston Pines and Sorento Sharks.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Richmond
Unfortunately not at my place. But good luck to you.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
GC really is where talented players go to lose confidence, ability and effort. Rowell, Anderson and Rankine are going backwards.
-
NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
Touch of Darcy Parish about Sam Walsh. A lot of possessions for not much influence. Still, as BBO has reminded me, they're the Premiership faves.

NON-MFC: Round 6, 2022
GWS looked terrible tonight.

Brad Scott has started well, hasn’t he!! ‘There’s to be no dissent’ says the former coaches box nutter.- The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
Roy11, I've watched a fair amount of grass roots footy. I certainly don't disagree with what you say. From my observation, the one thing that does seem to have a significant impact is the selection of coach. Strong coaches have the capacity to be incredibly influential. Even the idiots will follow the lead of a coach who leads by positive example. I remember watching two matches involving Frankston Pines. Their reserves coach at the time should never have been allowed to coach. Abusive, volatile and, of course, the crowd dutifully followed his lead in behaving in a threatening manner towards the umpire. In contrast, the senior coach was all that you would want in a coach of a team. And players and supporters alike followed suit re their own behaviour. It wasn't a one off. I've seen it time and again.- POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs GWS
It's funny BBO. As soon as I posted, I did wonder why I had this need to comment on him. My daughter had the Jesse Hogan badge and wanted his name on a duffle coat. Ok, there's still a soft spot. But bloody hell - The very, very contentious 50 for Dissent Rule
