  1. Daisy is very, very good but she's no Brett Kirk
  2. I've just had a look at his highlights reel and am now an absolute expert on him. I thought he moved a bit like Tom Lynch with his forward play.
  3. I was numb and probably disbelieving the night we won the Premiership. It's only some time down the track that the enormity of it has sunk in. I wonder, was anybody else slow to take it in?
  4. I know. And filling in the forms is time consuming as well. I'm an Aries, I enjoy football etc
  5. Return to Glory replied to Skuit's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
RTG is giving Fency an additional pick for writing in the third person.
  6. If Rory Lobb is $700 000 plus a year (staggering), Luke's contract will be a fair bit above that 450 mark.
  7. Worth every cent. And it goes to charity. I'm not sure when the AO awards are but I've sent my suggestions. Toot toot
  8. Yeah, I herd that. Watched him try to lay a shepherd. A little ugly.
  9. For some reason, the Oliver one always stands ut for me. You may well be right about Oliver but it felt like JT was all over it and therefore we were keen to get ahead of the Bombers in the queue. I'm not even sure he made the Vic squad initially. Someone will know. And I was told that Alan Richardson was pretty big on McCartin in his time at the Saints. Thank you twice Alan if that's the case.
  10. It was as well last year wasn't it? Love watching him play. Other than a couple of early games in his career (understandably), he generally gives the impression of being a safe pair of hands. He's 21 and taking on the likes of Tom Hawkins. It's pretty incredible tbh. I hope they don't try him forward again but I'm sure others will hold a different view.
  11. Sadly, I actually looked at an interview he gave a week before the GF. He's no Don Juan, not even a Don Johnson.
  12. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers...sorry
  13. One of the best aspects of the season was to see the progress of 'HeartBreaker' Petty. Hindsight is 20/20 vision but, hand on heart, I was convinced very early on that we had a player. I remember reading the bio - (paraphrasing) from remote sheep farming area, raw boned kid, tough as nails. He was pick 37 in 2017. Early days were a bit shaky but his reading of the game was always good. And let's not forget, the kid's only 21 and will only get stronger. I'd back Jason Taylor to get us another defender but I'm hoping it's one of the 30 + picks. Petty was a gem in the rough and I think there will be a couple of others around that mark. Hoping JT can target an outside mid who can move forward. There's not much exposed form in Victoria and he's probably smart enough to use that to our advantage. I think of someone like Oliver who came from the clouds in terms of being on our radar.
  14. I would have no problem with that post. I wouldn't be using big words with them however. i.e. celebrate
  15. Katrina, just a couple of things: 1. From my limited observations, Twitter appears to be where rational debate goes to die 2. Therefore, they can 'suffer in their jocks' (that would be my rationale response) 3. I'm guessing, based on your concern, that you are far from an arrogant supporter. And I'm sure it was entirely coincidental that we sang the same song 😏. But maybe politely suggest that they were gifted the 2016 Grand Final anyway by some of the more lop - sided umpiring ever seen. So be thankful you unwashed plebs. That should assist the trolls.
  16. I like to assure friends who follow other teams that I won't be like the smug Richmond pseudo - supporters willing to hand out unsolicited advice on how their team can improve. I then hand out unsolicited advice. And I offer additional advice for Geelong supporters.
  17. It’s a skill to be a self- proclaimed trade guru and be wrong with just about every point you make...over a three year period. Matt Rendell has that skill.
  18. I did contemplate adding an 'ed' to return but I'm not sure it's necessary
  19. Raft of the Medusa
  20. It did like that was the one SWYL
  21. I don’t think there’s enough gambling ads. I’d like to be able to bet on Auskicker of the year as well.
  22. Who’s on second?
  23. Yes, he’s not a natural, is he
  24. Where do I start? Aaron Naughton v Charlie Dixon to kick things off. Then you've got Cody Weightman returning. They're not world beters but Port forwards were bordering on fraudulent tonight.
