  1. Always great to see you pointing out that you, and only you, know what you are talking about Machsy. You'd be a real acquisition in the work place, no question.
  2. His father probably still has him covered.
  3. Silvio Facini
  4. Lets lay off the kid. Full pre season and Bob's your Uncle.
  5. Will your password be WAYNE ENYAW?
  6. Very keen to hear your thoughts. Sandy got up by a point and both were judged best afield in respective teams.
  7. I'm not sold on Wright for what it's worth. McCartin plays along the jack Darling lines (based purely on the clips I've seen). I do like the look of Laverde and I am interested in the comments re Liam Duggan. There is considerable buzz re Petraccas but I think Brayshaw may have the better skill set.
  8. In short, he's the type of player that would bite us in the arse if we were to let him go. see Stefan Martin.
  9. Wiseblood, how did Dawes go in the same game? Jamar is nearer the end than the start of his career and Gawn is primarily a ruck prospect. The biggest problem I see is that he is part of a revolving door policy which doesn't allow big fellas to settle.
  10. Ready to be shouted down but Fitzy is a real talent IMO. He's a presence up forward and with a strong midfield pumping it forward he'd be an asset. I know he is sometimes awkward but he scatters packs when on.
  11. Let's drop him to Casey for first half of the next season so that he comes back second guessing and shot.
  12. Spot on Sir Paul. The kid has probably been advised up to his eye balls. I'd like to see the senior side go out next week also and play with a bit of dash. I understand the philosophy but [censored], it's relentlessly dour.
  13. I've just found out that my daughter can read an AFL ladder. 'Why are Demons down the bottom?' 'Typo sweetheart '
  14. He's 203cm and now over 100kg.
  15. As one of the Olympians observed, this has as much to do about revenue as anything else. And I wonder how much the AFL has muddied the waters to ensure prosecution is iffy at best. Now that Gill the Ponce McLaughlin is in charge you can guarantee this is going nowhere IMO .
  16. Sir Paul, I'm not trying to point score but the trouble is there are Olympians wHo have suffered from loss of reputation plus time out of the sport. As pointed out in a couple of this mornings articles, this must be very hard for them to reconcile.
  17. Sue, I now don't think so. We have the ludicrous situation where a two year penalty for a drug violation has been reduced to roughly three weeks. Cooperation or not, the organisation in charge of ridding sport of performance drug use should not be making deals that are contrary to what they should be trying to achieve. I can't stand them but if I were Essendon I'd be bemused at whats been served up.
  18. Unfortunately, ASADA now look ridiculous. Here's three weeks Cronulla but Essendon, we are still going after you...well, sort of.
  19. In chronological order, yes, yes, not really.
  20. Maybe so Dee but all of a sudden Evans has taken upon himself to declare that the goal posts have changed.
  21. The other stat that worries me is that, more often than not, we are shite.
  22. Or perhaps he's just an overly suntanned, smarmy arse licker who has never left his Hawthorn ties at the door. I'll go with the latter.
