Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
Return to Glory replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
And yet they will undoubtedly press on. -
That's the beauty of you Machsy. Wasnt aware of the charges until today. I was one who hoped he could turn things around and that we would consider drafting him but it would appear that he has significant troubles.

A great day indeed. Looks like Robbo has backed the wrong horse. Let the back pedaling begin. -
My clear read on it is that he's staying. And I'm normally wrong.
-
I was saying the same thing to Machsy right before I declared him a pseudo intellectual, try hard [censored].

Mark Evans is a overly tanned ponce who can go [censored] himself -
Nor does Frawley.

Adam, my worry is that the Gold Coast and GWS have been gifted so much that when we hopefully emerge as a contender Dangerfield will be closing in on 30

Tend to agree Steve. Let's get it right and produce our own champs. Easier said than done but certainly what I'd prefer.

2014 Player Review - # 10 Shannon Byrnes

A lesson in not picking up players who are clearly done. Hindsight s a marvelous thing however. -

It's funny (I guess), I was a big fan of Geelong over previous years but I was massively over them this year. The ducking [censored] me, the fans shite me, the 186 points shite me, the boutique ground where clubs have no seating [censored] me, but above all the greatest snore fest in the history of footy, Tom Harley, [censored] me. -

Caddy was bloody good though. Makes you think he was running dead at Gold Coast. -

Agreed Dazzle. They were horribly exposed there last night. And I've got to say it, no one gets a run with the umps like Geelong IMO. There were some frees late in that game which were truly mind boggling. -

Dare I say it but I'm with you on this one Machsy. I have also been watching Bartel closely in the last couple of weeks and if he's not running forward of the play to get cherry kicks, I'll go he. He's also slowing, down markedly. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH

Thanks Redlegs. That's what I thought and I couldn't understand why the phantom drafts had him as our second rounder. Forgetting the other compo stuff, I then wonder who our second rounder will be? -

I hope this makes sense, but I would like to know the following: if he is not picked up in the first round then not picked up by St Kilda, can we then pick him up in the third round? -
174cm. Starred for Vic Country on occasions during carnival.

Great result for Dandy. Lonie is an interesting one for mine. I was trying to recall as to whether he was undersized. Time for a little homework.

Agree, I'm used to watching thrashings. Would just rather see them with hope of better to come. -

I hope not Sir Paul. I just feel it would be terrific for us to develop our own star, as much as anything to say that we can do it. We have done reasonably with Tyson but let's not be like Stkilda was when accepting Carlton's old players. I'm not saying avoid trading, but look to do it later in the draft. -
Impressive that Norf could win in spite of Scott.

Lumumba would no doubt be delighted to be accidentally sent an image of Bootsma's old fella pre match. -
