Don't go near Set Square for the remainder of this Spring.

Haven't you seen Finding Nemo BBO. If we can all swim together ...........

This whole system, (and it's flaws are becoming increasingly apparent) was agitated into existence by greedy player agents. In theory, equalization should increase the chances of all 18 clubs to succeed. Right now, it's never been further from the truth as, amongst other things, players insist upon where they go. I wonder whether it's time to stop the backending of contracts that has allowed stronger clubs to bring in big name players. If a player is on 2 mil over 4 years it should be $500 grand a year rather than graduated. Good luck to the clubs that can do it but it's becoming a two tiered competition because of it....imo. And yes, Middymalt, future pick trading is also a crock of shite......imo

Well said.

Then it's the greatest disguise since Tootsie.

Bloody beautiful Nudge. If you just tell me who wins the Caulfield Cup in an hour or so I'll be stoked. Maybe Set Square?

I suspect you make way too much sense to post on Demonland GCDee. -
I'd settle for a European Carp (Zac Dawson) Biffen at this point.

I'm actually inclined to agree dmma. There are certainly no guarantees. I still remember Templeton coming to us and not being able to kick over a jam tin. Time will tell, but I suspect there may well be a few big name busts from this trade period as well. And, for the first time in a while, I'm more excited by some of the lesser lights and their potential development I.e. (Stretch, Neal- Bullen, Oscar McDonald, introduction of Max King). It's easier being patient as well when the kids are starting to show something.

I don't hate him PA but I also saw quite a few North players move ahead of him in the pecking order.

His disposal has been iffy at times and he's gone missing as well. But as you say, before the Dank he was looking the goods. -

As someone mentioned earlier, it's a punt. And if he fires four years is a masterstroke. Of course, there is the opposite. -
Darren Lyons has given him a promotions job at the Council.

Surely he's talking NZ dollar.

Don't worry. I'm sure Robbo can write mindless articles on our behalf if we put him on our payroll. -

Could Howe possibly get us this? Probably not but, by all reports, next year has a number of promising mids. -

Yeah, spot on willmoy. It took me awhile to get my head around drafting him but there's no doubt he can add to the list, particularly if he can recapture his 2013 form. Bernie and Crossy showed that it's certainly possible. -

Honestly, what is wrong with you? You do know that they'll be opinions that differ from yours and I reckon you have used both of the highlighted phrases on several occasions in respect to different posters. You don't have to bust a gut to attack, attack, attack. The rare posts where you don't attack the man have been worth reading. The other stuff is tiresome dribble. -
STMJ, I want to keep him because I'm hopeful that he can recapture the form he was in prior to injury (ankle wasn't it? and I know it's a while back now). I'm not completely sold on Col since return but I also think he enables younger defensive players to come into the side and learn without being eaten alive.

It's going to be a special match when, not if, he runs on to the field this year.

Great site fellas and, as was noted earlier, a great outlet for footy heads. One of the great pleasures is getting on the site after a win and, conversely, finding humour (and possibly inner strength) in adversity. Go Dees.
