Somewhat of a pointed observation there DC.

Hope you wrote that with marbles in your mouth Brando style BBO. -

Didn't think I'd say it, but I'm in Middy's camp here re Lecra - although very early days. -
2015 Player Review - # 30 Alex Neal-Bullen

I've just finished removing Jimmy Toumpas as my favourite player BBO and installing ANB into that lofty position. He'll be on the outer by next years' post season. -
Enyaw, is that you?

2015 Player Review - # 30 Alex Neal-Bullen
Return to Glory replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Great summation Goodvibes. I've read 'meat and veg' comments in relation to ANB and I don't see him that way at all. I'm trying to think of the one game (besides the Geelong one) where it was pretty clear he had some real tricks. What a real bonus if he could come on next season. -
Ta CBDees, And it will be really interesting to see 1, How Oscar develops 2, Where Tom will predominantly play

Agree completely Webber. Really looking forward to ANB lifting another notch with a full pre season. Good reader of the play. -
Reckon he will - were Oscar and Tom the same draft number or thereabouts?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Return to Glory replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Got to admit that I've done a 180 with Jake Melksham. I didn't want him at the club initially but I'm looking forward to seeing him run around and making himself a pest. And if he can play consistently like he did in 2013 we would have done well. Even if he has just short spells in the midfield (I'm assuming he will), it offers a chop out for others. -
Seems you already have Munga.
-
Beat me to it. I'm in. Date and location picket.
-
Would be one of the great laughs. Pre match surely. And probably mid winter - a means to get us through another ripper of a season.
-
Not beyond the realms of possibility picket but surely dangerous.
-
I know Kurt Mutimer and, at one point, I wasn't sure that he'd be picked up or whether he actually wanted to play at the top level. It appears this has changed (on all counts) with ten clubs already enquiring as to his services. The keenest apparently is West Coast and I'm guessing their interest initially stemmed from an under 16 game he played where he took a hanger in front of Worsfold and generally took the game on. May not be there.

Ta. How do you think Carlton will go this year?
-
Moonshadow, I do think we have been guilty in the past of seemingly sticking to a rigid criteria. It's no surprise -when you have been as poor as we have, there's probably incredible pressure to take the safe or expected option. I'm happy for us to take a bit of a punt at 7. Our ball movement at times last year was pretty ordinary so why not take on a player with a bit of x factor (Millera)

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Return to Glory replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
So what you're saying is that you rate Clayton Oliver? -
Agree UDF. That's why I don't mind Millera (spelling, sorry) as a possible at 7 - presuming a couple of the others are taken. Still short on line breakers.
-
The game has some real challenges ahead in terms of the evenness of the competition, local participation and grass roots support. We all know this but I'm not sold on his ability to navigate through the issues.
-
Absolutely agree KDD. The problem I have is that he spends his time bagging the views of others then cries wolf.
-
DC, It just feels like he has no real presence. May well be a terrific bloke but I'm yet to see any strong leadership. The AFLPA currently is a case in point. Have I missed Gill's response? Was there one?
-
Inclined to agree Song. And, as mentioned, it's probably not helped by an AFL President who appears to sit on his hands. AD's legacy is going to look terrific compared to this bloke
-
Well he does mention 'weasels put like besides each others posts' which pretty much describes the history of yours and his posts...so you're right.

You're mad, seriously. I have no intention of giving you an even break, you pathetic little man. From the moment you started posting, anybody who disagreed with you was subject to abuse. Yes, you were the one abusing others and on a regular basis. I.e. loser, hero, [censored]. It was a heady mixture of paranoia, shite writing and trying to locate other posters to abuse. You sent me private messages which were meant to be threatening but were the work of a simpleton and truly bizarre. This 'cowards standing over you' horseshite makes me want to vomit as does the 'wouldn't say it to your face' crap you go on with. And I have no doubt whatsoever that you would be as weak as pi55. What's really odd is that now you mix rambling, vitriolic murmurings with regular comments. If you're on medication, I suggest it's either too much or not enough. So leave your witless, ' poor me,I'm a victim' garble to your psych, whom I can only assume is on a healthy retainer. Go Dees.
