Quite right Sloonie . Him and his gangster mates need help .I'm very aware of addiction and it's effects on the brain and body . I realise it's a physical addiction and not just a choice .Given that he has probably had more help and more sympathy than any other addict in the country I say he is a fool and a time waster. Given that he has lived of a rock star since he was 17 and had tremendous support from people all over the country then I say he just continues to sh!T on those who have tried helping him . Having had a kid recently makes it worse .I dont have sympathy for addicts at all -it's the last thing they need .If he was intending to deal I sincerely hope he does time and does it tough .You cant just keep giving an addict a blanket and a hug. He needs NA pure and simple . As for forum heroics ,I'll leave it to you .

I don't like to bag the club administrative side too much because their work has been good since Jim took over . I agree that we need some new ideas ,like targeting immigrant populations as future fans . Finding Demons merchandise is difficult at best -whether this is a deliberate strategy by the club to avoid paying the AFL too big a cut or not I dont know . The strategy to increase our fan base seems to be to achieve on field success-which is good . Winning games and selling merch would be the best thing we can do short term . Long term ,the Chinese experiment should be pursued .As with the Irish who are flooding the country right now .

I have us at 12-14 wins after 21 rounds . I realise this is optomistic but with a greater emphasis on defending our goals ,greater fitness base ,and increased application ,this is not unrealistic . In my calculations I expect us to beat Richmond ,St Kilda and Bulldogs. I dont expect us to beat Sydney away or Eagles away . I expect Essendon to be close to us this year and I hope we can finally pump Norf . I expect we will lose to Filth ,Dorks ,Blues and Cats but I do not expect any other defeats as a matter of course .

The Geelong (Bomber Thompson) mantra was"size matters". Wocjinski ,Stokes , Christiansen and other top players find it hard to get a regular game there because of it . It's a good policy (although a crumber would be great for us)
