  1. Saints-battlers playing well under a good coach.Reiwoldt ,Montagna reliant-yet to bottom out in my opinion. Geelong-reliant on too few currently. Ageing list struggling to find young replacements for old stalwarts. North-Petrie,Waite,Harvey,Firritto all over 32.Youth weak as Pish. Richmond-going well now ,may be ahead of us in the short term but no real fears for us. Gold Coast-Cultural cesspool-a mess.(drugs, booxe, strippers, and a selfish Captain GWS- their young team looks good but I doubt they are tough enough to sustain injury, long sesaons into Sept just yet. Bombers- in denial on many issues-a long slow implosion is due. Port-May have reached their ceiling, not belting the door down. Bulldogs- nothing special to worry about.Bob Murphy on last legs.Good mids,no rucks, one forward. Brisbane-Zorko ,Rockliffe,Handley,Martin/s. a few stars .Not a team that strikes much fear . West Coast- Will wait till next week before passing comment. Collingwood-improving but not as quickly as we seem to be. Freo-coming back to the back but well ahead of us.Once again,Lyon has the team to take him to Runner up if he is lucky. Sydney-the ethos of one for all etc doesn't carry any water when 2 guys take all the $$$.Same reason I don't want us to chase Danger now. Hawks-The benchmark.Tough, skilled, ruthless team of mercenaries. The nucleus and core are still good.Good players coming through. Crows-meh Melbourne-Good leader, good backline, developing mids, exciting forwards, many injuries to come back-could just as easily climb the ladder a la Port last year.
  2. The manager of the Crows Captain has sent a legal letter to an Adelaide restaurant serving the "Tex" burger asking them to cease using the name. This really put a dampener on the vibrator I invented. It only works twice a year, costs way too much ,and never provides any decent satisfaction. Maybe I should just call it "The Tippett" instead.
  3. No ,he said Mitchell was "naive". Like engaging in a 34 man drug binge and expecting to get away with it. Poor Jim.
  4. Gaining frequency with every post you write Dieter. Thank you for your concern.
  5. You are in select company on here Dieter. Most of the baby boomers here focus on tax dodging, restricting the housing market for the rest of us and comfortable bowel movements. Issues such as morality are considered merely as a punch line. As you are both a fast bowler and a war criminal after the fact, you have no need for it here.
  6. There is no point trying to work this out. They umpire to crowd reaction and bad acting. Apart from that- I want no 28 hunted down and brought to me.
  7. I think we need someone with blistering pace and good skills. We should be looking to fill gaps on the forward pocket, hff. The tackling pressure can be developed.and will be in the right culture. You cant teach speed. I think we are right for talls.
  8. They're invading!! I'm off to my bomb shelter.
  9. So you're a cheat, a German and most likely a war criminal. Edit:your
  10. Special Cyril did a mirror image of Trengoves tackle a few weeks ago . Don't know if he got week or not.
  11. The full story is that Robbie felt the full brunt of it and is still bruised. Swelling to the head. Gibbs playing without the helmet. It's in an article titled "50 Shades of Robbie Grey".
  12. Very undisciplined act. Surely the worst number 1 draft pick in history.
  13. He looks good in the Holy number 2. Max is starting to look worthy of wearing the most Sacred 11.
  14. Max has been sidelined on the list for two separate years with a knee. In that time he has been to nearly every game for Casey and the MFC (when unfit) to support his mates. He has seen and played in some of the worst teams in the modern era and along with Watts and Jones, has taken it all pretty well despite being thrown to the wolves. The club has spent years developing him and despite this, he is still a top player. To our credit as a club ,we never de-listed him and to his own credit he never quit. He also also a bloody good vibe around the club and I think he about the most popular bloke on the list. Mad Max is at the stage in his career (metaphorically) where the bad guys have just run over his wife and kids and he has decided to handcuff people to car bodies and douse them in petrol.
  15. Moonie , I can only recall twice when it has failed but I agree there is a risk with any attempt to use the "barrel". On the positive side,Dunn is such a confidence player that it may be worth letting him try it once a game if we are on top in the marking department. We had more targets available with Gawn,Spencer,Watts,Howe,Dawes able to bring it down, punch it on. I'm for it. But if Dunn is having a bad day from the start I like to see Watts kick in or Salem when fit. Don't Ban the Barrel!
  16. You can stop now. The win was Sunday and now it's Tuesday.
  17. I don't think Selwood had time to sledge Chunk. He was too busy trying to umpire the game and running off to change his tampon.
  18. Jamar wont be jumping on a plane to Perth. Or anywhere really.(he can't) It's all over for him Lord. If that's you posting Mark, nice try.
  19. Gawn Vince Jones Brayshaw Viney ANB
  20. He can go eat a bag. So can the Fox crew including Gerard Healy. They were woeful today. Consistently wrong.
  21. Selwood and Johnson are just are pair of whining little hoes who like to [censored] and question every decision. Despite umpire 28 being a complete fkn suck again, we beat them in front of their own plebians in that backwater hole.
  22. This is the best win since we pantsed the Swans and roosy was left speechless.
  23. Nice sign off Dazzle!!!
  24. You are my hero Max!
