My players are based on 1985 onwards. Prior to that I was a kid in Sydney watching the Roosters . There are several current players who could make this list one day. 1. Schwartz -All round ability-An absolute freak -any position. 2.Nietz- Most reliable,consistent performer ,best shot on goal.Mark it down anywhere within 60M. 3.Flower-Elegant ,fast, super-skilled but fragile. 4.Lyon -The total package-is as good an all round player as there has been. 5.Farmer- Freak speed,mark,kick and for his size was actually one of the most feared men to wear the jumper.( had a temper).

Up until Peter Bell he was the greatest Asian footballer of all time. (Sam Pang rated himself top 5 ) I loved the Mullet era. Ricky Jackson,Stinga, Grinter ,Sugar,Lyon,Stynes,Newport,Strawbs,TC ,Stretchmarks,Lovett etc . What a great team.

Councils like this should stick to doing what they do best.... Speaking out on national issues they have no control of. Destroying public assets for the benefit of no one in particular. Nobody wants a council to maintain parks,streets and public spaces,clean rubbish and provide efficient ,quiet service to the community.If an inner city council is not politicicising and grandstanding then they really should think about why they got into the job in the first place.

The AFLs need to attach every game to a cause or an issue is really irritating. I dont like being told how to think ,or what to think about societal issues or personal values on matters the AFL thinks it can inform or "highlight". Many of us go to the football,or turn on the game just to relax. I suppose people will will point to "The Big Freeze" as a good way to raise funds for a worthy cause but it now seems to be every single game.

The time Bitters tried to join the Romsey CWA in a leather mini did not go down well. Some clubs operate better when one gender is in control.
