  1. I would expect to find a rather sheepishly looking Gawny sent to the naughty corner with sandwich crumbs on his chin, and gin and tonic on his breath.
  2. Yeah, she's going to say no to those millions... would you?
  3. Lock him up for 5, that way he legally can't run when he sees the state of the list up close, until he does something about it.
  4. It's called the calm before the storm. Essendrug are still in this up to their bio chemically altered necks!
  5. Thing that gets me, and I don't even know if this is the right thread to post in (probably not) is if we get a competitive (doesn't even have to be world beating) midfield we would be exponentially better- we don't have one- and many posters here talk about how easy it is to draft one in. I think I said it last year, but this year I think it is even more important; we must strike GOLD in this draft. Another high pick failure or skinny kid needing development and we're done!
  6. nek minit MFC do as they do, make a total disaster of the trade and actually only end up with half of Rory Sloan..
  7. I think the one thing that gets my goat about this whole thing is how could you not have records of what was given? I mean players vitals are monitored in just about every way imaginable these days, their BFI, diet, training loads are all monitored- yet we are to believe that no one kept records of what was being injected into the players on a regular basis? I don't buy it. They either had the records and destroyed them, or they didn't record the substances at all, and quite frankly it's bloody hard to decide which one of those events is more frightening. I'm not just saying this because of my unbridled hatred of this piece of crap team, but if I was a junior player at essendrug I would want out, and I would want out yesterday. I would feel betrayed and angry that the introduction to my AFL career has been hijaked by the biggest scandal in Aussie rules history, and I would always have to worry about possible ramifications from whateverr cocktail has actually been injected into me- on a regular basis. They will burn for this, one way or the other. These first penalties are only the entree, ccan't wait until the full report is finalised and we have the meat and bones to feast on. yum yum
  8. What if other teams activate PP or other picks, does it push them further back?
  9. I remember the days when the term "heroic" was reserved for acts of heroism
  10. If Trengove cops a ban and Essendon players get off scott free I'm out!
  11. I hate the pricks but I'm starting to realise it is because they have what we don't; respect. They earned it by taking no prisoners and quite literally doing "whatever it takes"- not like us who just think "whatever it takes" is a snazzy catchphrase to throw around. This is why they are one of the big 4, and we (the oldest club in the world) are the weakest. Heartbreaking really.
  12. For me this has very little to do with Clisby and everything to do with MFC yet AGAIN copping it sweet without fighting it out. Like we always have, and it appears always will, we make it easy to be the bullied because we never stand up for ourselves when wronged. If we didn't fight this because we are suckjng on the AFL'S teet-which I don't buy - then as of right now we are dead. I'm going to have to start not hating every other team in the comp because it is becoming very conceivable to me now that one day I might actually have to follow one of the pricks
  13. I'm putting it out there for someone to counter and help restore my faith. Anyone?
  14. Weak, weak, weak. Weak on the field, weak off it. Just another small confirmation we will never be strong in any facet of this game. No wonder all my friends laugh at the fact I support the dees. Running out of inspiration to follow this insipid train wreck of a club. Can't even muster up the courage to fight the MRP now. Lol what joke we are!
  15. Luckily I updated the thread before I posted how weak we are for not challenging. Good move by the club. Win or lose the challenge it shows loyalty to our players and fight to the supporters.
  16. Get the ears pinned back first, then worry about the vanity drugs.
  17. That and teeth. I'm sick to death of this will he/won't he, body language reading, game playing and innuendo- just give us a definitive "yes" or "no" Roosey and put us out of our misery. More drama than Summer Bay and Ramsey Street with this club. We don't want or need more. Enough with these self inflating games.
  18. We have been run by monkeys who know nothing about football and what it takes to have a strong successful side. Wrong decisions followed by bad judgment followed by poor/no leadership followed by in house fighting. Every facet of this club has been a disaster and now it's up to the AFL to help one of its kiddies. Embarrassing and disgraceful really!
  19. That's what I worry about. We are going to have no supporters or members from this current generation. We currently have ZERO players that will attract young eyes. When I was young we at least had Lyon and the Ox and Farmer. Who do we have now? Nobody. The future is grim. Those wishing for us to fold SHAME ON YOU, but unfortunatley your wish may one day be true!
  20. We literally need a miracle to turn this stinking ship around, and I don't believe in miracles. Meanwhile the Tigers who were seen to be at a similar development path as us just a few years ago are up on the Hawks by 36. What a shitty day!
  21. Anyone pulls out any positives from this I will [censored] slap you!
  22. Imagine what it would do for your confidence if you couldn't crack a gig in this rabble! I laugh at us not trying different options. Are we seriuosly worried things can get any worse?
  23. If we're deemed not deserving of a priority pick no club ever will be ever again. Then again, we need so much more than a PP. We need 2-3 experienced hard bodied leaders, we need a mini draft set up
