I'm on the same page as you. But your getting your left and right field terms round the wrong way. Eg. Rocket Eade is available. He has experience, has a good record, is affordable, is available and would no doubt win us more games than he lost. A safe choice. However the team selecting the coach have decided to go with Ben Cousins. He does not have any experience as a senior or assistance but the team think his work ethic and thinking outside of the square would be worth the risk. This is a extreme left field choice example.

I would much rather give Mark Neeld a 3 year contract than sit here for a year. Yes. Malthouse is the best option. But he is not the be all and end all that everyone is making out. I will be very angry with the club if this happens. It would be so frustrating as a player to have 3 different coaches with 3 different game plans within 3 years. They would finally perfect what Viney had taught them, knowing that Malthouse would most likely change it the following season.

A year is a massive amount of time in football. If Malthouse wants to coach us then he I want him to start now or not at all. All this talk about Eddie suing is [censored]. I dont care if Eddie saves face. Viney has stated that he doesn't want to be a senior coach a couple of times now. Lets get the new coach in and give him a shot. A caretaker role for a whole year would do nothing to settle us.

Star is going a bit far. We needed a key forward. He is only 191cm tall. If we had picked up Darling we wouldn't have picked up Howe who is a similar size. We have a fair few players who can play third tall. Stats Darling vs Howe

Yeah me too. This week was no where near as bad as the last couple. We are in a much better position than we were 3 years ago. All our best players have the best years ahead of them. Things can turn around pretty quick in football. Just look at west coast. The good times are coming. And all the bad times are just going to make them all the more sweeter.
