It's usually during the home and away season that the internal media drops off for one reason or another... Mitch Clark is going to be a lot more potent next season with some bigger bodies and more competent footballers playing around him. I remember the West Coast game where he snagged four and none of those goals was from an effective upfield delivery. That in itself shows the quality of the man in terms of effort and ability - he was buggered after each of those goals. Viney clearing and Clark goaling. That will do me just fine.

We dare not win a flag within the next five or so years. Surely if we do, the tanking allegations will flare up once more.

As long as you measure that proportionately against what he drafted in then I would consider it valid.Too much concern about what we've lost as opposed to what we've gained.

I can vividly recall the disappointment of our performance against the Lions in Rd 1 this past season. Watching the game slip away from us was nauseating. A team performance which results in a good win in Rd 1 next year will be enough to get me a semi at least.

I think the only addition will be Dawes.You're idea about Col is great but there is no chance IMO he will get a guernsey.

He would be the first to say it's a team effort from committed individuals.Having Neil Craig and Dave Misson on board is some serious added value.

I agree that it was handled very well by the club and Neeld's speech was spot on without over-doing it. I think it's fair to say though that considering Neeld is such a meticulous planner, this outcome had been rehearsed even though it wasn't the one we desired.

The reason I ask is that I inadvertently bumped into his uncle in Kalgoorlie this morning whilst fuelling my ute before heading back to Perth. He was paying in front of me and was wearing an MFC cap to which I obviously had to commend him on and that's when he said his nephew plays for the Dee's and told me that it was Nev. He said that Nev had flown out of there last night? I'm sure that's what I heard. Also got to chatting with his passenger - Lewis Jetta's father. Both very proud of their boys evidenced by the fact I could hardly get a word in. Uncle very confident on a good season from Nev.
