  1. I'm not much of a photographer but what they've tried to do with the lighting in the photos of all players is bloody terrible in my opinion.
  2. Just a thought, but maybe you should tidy it up a bit to improve your chances of employment.
  3. Hard to argue with any of that.
  4. I think "spud" should be removed from all discussion about the players due to its absence in their new diet.
  5. Much of the discussion about the MFC usually is.
  6. OMFG, I thought we delisted Sam Blease?
  7. Yes, surprised he didn't slip to the Pies.
  8. Macintosh is as fragile as Clark (physically). Blicsavs has some real leap and a very good tank. Cats are in strife with Vardy being injured so much. Excuse me for smiling a little...
  9. Do you rate Fitzy a better option than Pedersen? Surely they would have similar roles?
  10. A good bunch of midfielders can make any ruckman look like a gun, and conversely, make the oppositions ruckman look terrible. Max Bailey was never much of a player but the Hawks mids worked well with him. If he was at the Dee's for instance during his time at the Hawks, it would've been a different story. Our midfielders have improved and hopefully our clearance work follows on from that. Gawn being the tallest and now much stronger should be our best option moving forward. He has a much better footy brain than big Jake and is less prone to doing silly things that cost the team badly. It will be interesting to watch Jamar this year. He's fit and ready to fire so don't be surprised if he gets an extension beyond the completion of his contract this season. Geez, most of were in utter disbelief when his last 3 year contract was given and that seems like ages ago now. I guess Pedersen is the other forward/ruck option that might get around and jump a little bit more this year after shedding a few kilos. I think we're okay compared to some of the other clubs.
  11. I just live stones a throw from the 'Mash.' As you mention, the IPA is a good drop and like most IPA's should be consumed moderately unless you just want to get [censored]-faced. Might even swing down there this arvo for a froth or three.
  12. Well after spending the last couple of weeks in Vic, I've unfortunately been unable to railbird and report on any training. I did however manage to get into the Demon shop today (what a stupid fucken place to have it) and purchase various MFC paraphernalia to adorn myself with. Served by a lovely young lass too I must add. Back to WA I go where I shall look forward to us smashing the Dorkers in the NAB challenge. If it's not telecast and I'm not too intoxicated, I shall endeavour to report on the teams performance. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to type up any training report; some are better than others in many different ways but all are appreciated so please keep it up. So looking forward to this season, I reckon the Dee's are going to be the story of the year - all for good reasons. Ed: spealing
  13. Not quite right. Once it's used all available glucose, it will continue to operate using ketone bodies. Symptoms include terrible headaches, lethargy and generally feeling like shyte.
  14. I think that's what we're all hoping, given he has the history of kicking goals as opposed to our previous goal kickers sparse offerings.Geez I hope so. Ed: regards Garlett.
  15. Has he completely removed/detached himself from photography? Surely this draws a parallel to your premise?
  16. Laugh it up.
  17. That's a good question and one that Joel Selwood has shed some light on in and article today. He alludes to the premise that Geelong footy club will not pay out big bucks to a star like PD but as part of a high performing team, shall adjust contracts and payments according to the clubs postion in the competition. It's logical, but hardly the way FA is working. The question is; will the Dee's be the equal of Geelong by the end of 2015? Will there be enough attraction for PD to return to Vic for a premiership tilt with ......?
  18. Our entire team has improved a lot - on paper. I'm feeling more confident this year than others that we'll finally start winning games by good margins. The forward line looks good as long as Hogan stays fit, Dawes lifts and Pedo backs up his talk with some walk and gets on the end of a few more goals this year. With the other talls resting forward and our smaller brigade with another year and solid pre season behind them it should result in better scoring ability. I'm wary of placing too much expectation on Petracca. Sure, he's a well built and skilful youngster who can kick long goals but he's not played a game yet. I reckon we'll get more goals from Tyson and Salem this year. I just want the season to hurry the f... up and start.
  19. What about the last time you said something positive? That'd be right up there.
  20. The only circumstance I would entertain in which the club would shell out huge coin for PD would be if we were a top 4 team at seasons end, with every chance of challenging for a flag in the ensuing years. It'll be pretty unlikely but stranger things have happened.
  21. So when do the players return to Melbourne?
  22. Rpfc, I'm interested to know what your top performance drivers are for a Captain and/or LG. I understand that there is on and off-field stuff to deal with but given your current responsibility as a Skip, what do you focus on?
  23. Not when you're in Beech Forest. Trust me.
