    I've already started the texting with my good PA supporting mate, Dave. He's provided some gold over the years so hopefully come tomorrows final siren we're in front.     Start him the forward pocket to hopefully kick a couple of snags. The kid needs confidence and it doesn't come any faster that when you get on the end of a couple early in a game.

    Lever is no Dangerfield. If we were to hand over two first rounders I'd be wanting to see one of them turned into another very handy player from another club.

    I didn't mind the humour but I will agree that Paddy is halfway on the slippery slide to coming across as a full blown stroker.

    Schofield got off because the idiots at the tribunal deliberated about Houli's good character and gave him two weeks for knocking out the Carlton player. They immediately hamstrung themselves because if they didn't uphold the Schofield decision that would've had to dish out two weeks for his glancing elbow. The whole system is pathetically flawed.

    Only hope is the Crows look after Bernie with both incident reports stating there were no ill effects to either player. Considering Don Pyke highlighted the Vince 'high bump' in his presser I don't think this is gonna happen.

    Interesting to just watch the Priddis high fend-off with his elbow on Lachie Neale in the first qtr of the derby. Intentional, high (head contact) and more force than the Vince tap on Betts.

    Hogan had a slightly better touch but his second efforts are non existent. Needs to find another gear or three.

    Kent/we deserved a free kick from that contest. Crows player landed square into his back.

    It had a bit of a mongrel spin on it to so getting that distance was impressive.

    Nothing much worked tonight but I thought our offensive plays were particularly erratic and easily defended by the Crows. I reckon Gawn put it down the throats of more Crows players than our boys and they worked it out of congestion so efficiently whereas we just hand balled the absolute bejesus out of it until it was turned over. Hogan looked more likely in the second half but gee whiz I hope he finds form next week. Otherwise put Petracca back at FF.
