Our handball game is ridiculous

Bloody hell, Bernie! I reckon he'll get a week for the Betts high hit bit might get off on his bump. Either way, it's just outright poor leadership by Bernie and I hope Goodwin gives him a well-deserved baking over it.

A loss is one thing but this is going to really do some damage to our percentage if it keeps up.

Gonna be hard to retrieve this now.

Fark me. Walker killing Frost.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 17
McQueen replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Was looking forward to not having to deal with Lynch on top of Jenkins and Walker. -
This is just a hypothetical here so bear with me, but.... We know JT is a FA this year and has the option of walking come seasons end. And, whilst most of us agree that the previous month has presented as the most fertile period for Jack to get a trot given the injuries and consecutive 6 day breaks, the club has not taken that opportunity. We are all miffed but are we over-looking the most obvious reason some players do not get played? Has Trengove already played his hand and told the club he's leaving at seasons end? I could then understand the resistance from Goodwin to play him at all this year. Plausible?

It sure looks like the club is hedging its bets here. As much as winning each and every game would be a thing of beauty, I'd rather drop this game now and come home with a wet sail (fit 22). If we pull it off then it's a massive bonus Against Port we regain Watts, Tyson and potentially Viney. We win against those bogans and then get Salem back in against North in Hobart and clean up those bogans as well. Rd 20 we should get Jones back against GWS and the team should be at full strength. With the Lions and Pies left to deal with before a weeks spell prior to finals, we hopefully should be in very good shape for September. Super exciting time. -
I've done that before. Claim customer entertainment expenses because of the size of the bar tab when it was just myself either celebrating or drowning my sorrows.

BUMP... (in the hope it works a second time) Following on from the last time we towelled up these muppets, AFL 360 lead their Monday night programme with "Statement" with reference to our win in Adelaide. It was clear plaigarism of this thread but I don't think there was too many people who didn't sit up and take notice after this game. Even @Ethan Tremblay vowed to stop writing nasty letters to Goodwin. A couple of months on and we're now only two games behind the Crows on the ladder so a win now is so crucial in that it will close the gap on another direct top 4 aspirant. So, when we beat Adelaide this Saturday night, what are you going to do?
-
The admiration for Frost and Omac on the back of some good form is nice and completely warranted. All players have off days though so I hope when they spud it up next we offer them some leeway as they continue to develop. Somehow I can't see that will be the case.
-
They played the audio of that interview on 360 and I'd put my hard earned on him leaving. Was being far too coy for mine.
-
Farcical was certainly the case for us in Roosy's last game. I'd love to see the Pies replicate that.
-
Who knows. We've got form of winning the close ones and when the chips are down so that's a big positive for us. Each game is as crucial as the last but I reckon this Saturday night against Adelaide will be another huge mental win for the group if they pull it off. Port have been stung by the flat-trackers talk and I think they've become a more accountable team so that'll be a big ask. North - can we please just beat this mob. GWS aren't as mentally tough as we are. Saints - reckon they'll get us this time around. Brisbane - danger game but should be right. Pies should be a win but they might turn it on for Buckley in his last game as coach.
