You were saying this before he made it back to play in two more games and you've always banged on about how slow you think he is. In moments like these I wish people would actually wait until it's confirmed rather than re-hash their opinions.

This is the fallacy. We've had some of our most capable players in Jones, Gawn, Watts, Hogan, Vince, Lewis et al all out injured or suspended at one time or another. They've had a spell. Given they're 'senior' players it just [censored] with my head that you'd fall out of 'touch' that quickly. During my career (obviously at a lower level) I've never had a problem getting back amongst it. It's just excuse after excuse.

Sounds good. The key to jig fishing is to not have anyone else on the boat fishing with bait. Fish will always go for the bait first - usually the little ones. With jigs by themselves, you have a much improved chance of catching larger fish.
