But he's good bloke.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ALEX NEAL-BULLEN
McQueen replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think it's a part of his game he should move away from. He's not exactly a Jonathan Brown type who has the physical intimidation ready to back up a few smart arse comments. He's doing fine by letting his footy do the talking right now. -
Who is this Trengrove fellow?
-
He's in an interesting circumstance I reckon. With Lewis, Vince and Jones to a lesser degree all approaching the end of their careers, Trengove must be thinking hard about staying on and enjoying the potential spoils over the next decade should he get back to best 22. The other side of the coin is accepting that he's probably going to be battling his backside off in the magoos more often than not and remaining frustrated. If his body is back to AFL standard and capable of very good footy, he surely must put himself out in the open market - particularly as a free agent.

From the AFL site if you haven't read it. 'I'm a realist': Trengove savours bright lights There's no doubt he still wants an AFL career and as much as I'd love him to stay at the club, I think he's going to get greater game time elsewhere.

I'm guessing Dave must be in a bad signal area. I've sent a few texts this arvo but haven't had a response. It's a good thing I'll see him at footy training on Wednesday night.

I don't think JKH offers much X factor at all compared to our other small to mid-sized players. He got a bit of the ball last week but went missing today. X factor is great but you have get your hands on the pill first. In; Jones Out: JKH
-
Will Jones return and if so who will he replace? It'd be a shame to see Trengove only make the one appearance and then be omitted. JKH had little impact today but otherwise it was a reasonable spread of effort.
-
Unfortunately I think that's exactly what will happen when Jones returns.
-
Nothing special but made some good decisions in hot situations.
-
If we can start like that more often we'll be a hard team to beat. With the Darwin game last week and 4 players coming straight back in from injury, we were always going to tire as the game went on. That last qtr stand showed some real maturity and composure to nullify Ports run. Poor old Wattsy had a mare for his 150th.
-
Maturity on show. ??
-
Maintain the rage boys!
-
We're on like the Crows game in Adelaide.
-
When are these maggots going to start paying HTB??
-
I would put money on him picking out a free kick to a Port player at the first bounce. Probably against Gawn.
-
Have you gone over KK?
-
They were clearly the better flat-trackers on the day.
-
I have a feeling this will go down to the wire. Port are playing very good footy but our desperation and hardness will be on show today and will limit their slick ball. I'm tipping the boys to do it for Wattsy and get a Demon victory by 3 points
-
A bloke who has one or two seasons left versus a bloke who has at least 5 if he can perform. Really hoping Jack can seize this opportunity and anchor a spot.

Good Lord the umps are doing everything to hand this to Geelong.
-
And that is THE main reason I despise this team.
-
