I think it's a part of his game he should move away from. He's not exactly a Jonathan Brown type who has the physical intimidation ready to back up a few smart arse comments. He's doing fine by letting his footy do the talking right now.

He's in an interesting circumstance I reckon. With Lewis, Vince and Jones to a lesser degree all approaching the end of their careers, Trengove must be thinking hard about staying on and enjoying the potential spoils over the next decade should he get back to best 22. The other side of the coin is accepting that he's probably going to be battling his backside off in the magoos more often than not and remaining frustrated. If his body is back to AFL standard and capable of very good footy, he surely must put himself out in the open market - particularly as a free agent.

I don't think JKH offers much X factor at all compared to our other small to mid-sized players. He got a bit of the ball last week but went missing today. X factor is great but you have get your hands on the pill first. In; Jones Out: JKH

Will Jones return and if so who will he replace? It'd be a shame to see Trengove only make the one appearance and then be omitted. JKH had little impact today but otherwise it was a reasonable spread of effort.

Unfortunately I think that's exactly what will happen when Jones returns.

If we can start like that more often we'll be a hard team to beat. With the Darwin game last week and 4 players coming straight back in from injury, we were always going to tire as the game went on.
