  1. Sorry to hear that Ox โœŒ
  2. Have a little pitty for Uncle's maid
  3. Best win for the year so far. Clarry again with plenty of others joining in. The CLUTCH mark by Rivers at HB early in the last. Spargod was sensational! T-Mac & May's second half! ANB and Gus. You Bloody Bewdy Newc!
  4. Weideman off pls!
  5. Spargo been very good tonight. The obvious missing link in this match apart from the big out Lingers ....BB in for Weid to play the deep KF
  6. That'll hopefully be Viney for Sparrow soonish
  7. Melk to HF. Kozzie into the middle. Sparrow to the bench. Weid up the ground. T-mac to CHF. BB was a much better option deep tonight vs Weid and should be the go to out of the two from here. Would much rather have Baker in for the run on one wing. We have zero run / link up happening and transition is far too slow. Is Harmes playing on Neale?
  8. Why are we still leading/kicking to the pocket when we're 3+ goals down??
  9. Tracc panics too often after doing the hard work to get free and mark the ball. Needs to go back when we've got that advantage and assess. No clear leads he can realistically hit up (and FCS be more realistic) dump it lowish into the hot zone nice and deep
  10. Awful inside 50 decision making from Tracc X 2
  11. LJ gets pushed in the back in ruck contests twice by Joe...no free both times.
  12. Kozzie in to the middle pls. Sparrow off. Melk to HF
  13. ? Entries are too shallow - get the ball in deeper than 40+ meters out more often and to a target. ? Neither Kossie or Spargo can make the distance (accurately) from 40 or more which is a real worry ? Mids are too close to the ball up area.. need a few more on the outer ring ? The inside mids, aside from Clarry on a few occasions, need to get moving at the ball up. Far too stationary. ? Maxy if you can't see an obvious red & blue guernsey at your feet thump it clear towards our goals when competing up the line. ? Please close down the forward half zone. Too much room / time being given to the Lions HBs. ? T-Mac get into the game higher up pls and intercept. ? Weid & LJ put some Grippo on pls. ? Weid stop running under the ball so often. Not AFL standard here and you've had 4 seasons to get this right now.
  14. Nothing new but surely (among other assets) a winger needs to be capable of intercepting in the air as well as the legs to manage the gut run going both ways. ANB has the latter but not sure about the former? I'm not sure Sparrow was the right call to replace Lingers if they are looking to play him there either. Hoping i'm wrong but reckon we will probably struggle tonight.
  15. Great Front Bar episode tonight with Kickett & Winmar. Forgot how good Kickett was. Amazing highlight reel. Those torps on the run freakish. Seems like a great bloke too. What a travesty he was left out of the 93 GF by Sheeds and missed getting a cup.
  16. Yup. Kye... Positive Lingers Negative Winger!
  17. 49,666 The number of the beast!!?
  18. It would seem that way MB. I usually err on the side of caution. Bit of self preservation (latent MFCSS!?)
  19. I don't think anyone is up to holding down a regular 22 on the wing either OD. I just think he's the most suited go to at this point until Lingers returns in a week or two ?
  20. I'm not sure either will bust any doors down (at AFL level.. VFL a different matter) this season 58 with both coming off an interrupted pre-season. Usually find players struggle to hit their "top form"with consistency in these situations. I'm not saying they won't improve on some pretty ordinary early form and one or both might have the occasional day out. But i wouldn't bet the house on them firing on all cylinders consistently either.
  21. Yep i certainly wouldn't want to see Rosman thrown in the deep end at such a raw end of his career DW. Give him another pre-season or two and give him a taste of the big league when the oppo and time suits. Looks a very nice lip smacking prospect. Looking forward to him coming on and into the senior ranks as he builds a tank and body etc.
  22. Baker for Lingers. Just needs to hold the line for a week or two. Mind you he has some bloody big shoes to fill
  23. With a splash or two of St Hugo Eden Valley Chardy present
  24. An old school fav amongst some of the best forwards to ever play including Derm. Tomahawk is always dabbing this (or similar) on his guernsey pre-match & quarter time breaks. Can't quite recall if i've seen Reiwoldt / others use it but i recall one or two others dabbing it from their guernsey after a goal etc out of the present day forwards. T-Mac as well? Obviously more to marking than just this but is the Weid taking advantage of every possible avenue to improve i wonder?
  25. Another small shout out for Harmes after Friday night's match (courtesy of Ben Gibson MFC).... .... "As for Harmesโ€™ performance, well, Liberatore was restricted to a season-low 16 disposals and four clearances, after averaging 27 and 11 respectively in the previous four matches." ...
