  1. What a Horrowitz this thread has become. I'm just Abbado-ver it!
  2. Same. There is nothing in any of that that vision to definitively sat he touched the ball. Just the usual media drivel on the Demons Loges. Anything to come with a contrary view to the bleeding obvious. Let them hate away while we keep sticking right up em.
  3. The conspiracy theory argument is your concoction DS. I'm just saying the hate/loathing is there and there's alot if it about. That it manifests in various forms, including bias by some umpires, commentators (eg BT) etc along the way No one other than yourself is claiming it's a conspiracy where everyone is in on the act. Example of your OOT accusation...I did not say the whole of Chanel 9... i referred to one football show.
  4. As one example EO ... Lingers is No. 1 in the AFL for sprint averages. As for goal kicking my understanding is he is our most accurate set shot at the moment. Or was the last time i looked. Not too shabby.
  5. The last one wasn't a stuff up...the umpire in question admitted the free kick was there and he decided not to pay it.
  6. Just one example EO. That's not apathy that's a deliberate decision by the producers/those running the show.
  7. You are both watching different games to me then fellas. There's alot of hate out there for the Demons and it ripples through the AFL community like a cancer. If you want to hide under a blanket that's your choice. Last week's two non-decisions toward the end effectively cost us the match. But let's pretend it never happened. All will be well if we just close our eyes and pray!
  8. So if you watched the Sunday Footy Show there was a 2 minute snippet of how the Demons go from attack to defence so well which confused and mucked the Doggies on Friday night. Every other match was covered with a full review & highlights package, including votes , except ours. This included extensive coverage of what was, apparently, the greatest win in recent history by Essendrug over the Eagles with player interview and similar coverage of the Cats win over the Pies with Issac Smith interviewed. Apparently our win/top of the table block buster match was an aberration that only warranted a 2 minute analysis from Browny at the start.
  9. Courtesy of Stephen Anderson off FB... the bias against the Demons continues. Razor or no Razor. T-Mac shirt fronted no eyes for the ball no free... https://www.facebook.com/groups/MFC.forum/permalink/4722910574402673/ Then May ... inflicts a perfect spoil. Zero chopping zero holding and be unlucky to get called in basketball but wait... somehow it was "Arm interference". There is vision of this if you scroll down in the comments section of the linked video above
  10. I see Lockhart as more of a HBer 58 but you could be right.
  11. IMHO there is no like for like replacement for Lingers. Of course he is elite at what he does so no surprise here. The closest we might have at present that can fill the hole for a week? Probably Baker. He was in the best for Casey's last match against the Swans apparently so may be on the cusp for the call up vs other options.
  12. Baker was in the best players against the Swans apparently. I reckon he'll be high up on the list to replace +lingers
  13. I seriously watched this game through beer goggles Buck so i have no idea what happened re Ed. Any possibility the Doggies put a run with on him to pressure him off his usual game? Would need to watch the game again. Maybe he just had an offy. Hope he recovers quick. He's a bloody jet and one of my all time favs now. Love the way he goes about it. Not too many in the game run harder than Mr Ed.
  14. Too funny... the other come back.... "I'd gladly bugger off to a bayside mansion but they're mostly owned by current and ex AFL players nowadays!" His bayside wasn't Frankston by any chance ?

  16. Rnd 11, 2021 Marvel Oval - Bulldogs vs Demons Clarry you havin some sorta year mate! Super team effort from most tonight. Some great role players this eve including Harmes (snuffing out Libba), Spargo, Lever, Jordy, Rivers & ANB. Was it Hunt & ANB sharing the Bont? Was too distracted to focus. I'm sure there's plenty more to mention but that will do for tonight. Time to get back on the beers! 17. Back to his 2019 form ....Statistically 2nd best for the year that season.
  18. Again... he's been awful barring one decent play in the second with a mung ball that hit up a player 30 out
  19. Wasn't that a great half from Rivers! Common boys. Max, LJ, Weid, Melk & Hunt really need to lift here to win this. Cant carry that many on a downer against this mob
  20. It's not just the marking it's the lack of smarts. Going up with Jackson in the goal square. Ok, hang off and protect a bit of space so he gets coverage to mark. Or just compete without marking to do same. Then the same on the wing about 15 in to that quarter coming from behind against LJ again. Does he even think about what he's doing outside of lead/mark type play? Would want to have a very good second half with at least two goals to continue on from here. Melk also very Flakey. Like Dazzle i'm not sure what Hunt's role is? LJ needs to lift, if not in the air up forward and around the ground....at least on the ground. Usually pretty good at the latter but gone missing tonight so far.
  21. You must be watching a replay of a 2018 final EO
  22. Max having another mare. Go back from just outside 50 ...take some seconds off the clock. Kick it inside 50 for a possible mark close to the boundary or just outside. Instead goes to play on straight away putting himself and everyone else under pressure and allowing the Dogs another rebound and potential entry inside 50. Thank Lucifer Gus was playing his role across HB!!
