  1. This Chanel 7 crew are the pits. How are they even getting a job bar Hodge
  2. Fritsch good. Andrews one of the worst defenders at ground level. Will eat hin alive but need to get the ball to ground. Much better forward in this quarter
  3. Clarry ya gotta stick that tackle mate
  4. Fritsch is getting monstered by Andrews in the marking contests. The cost of having an out of form Petty coming in. That means its mostly on Rooh to stand up here and Petty as well
  5. Maysie that was NEVER on.... ughh Play the percentages there
  6. Great kick from knuckles and great effort to square the contest by Petty, freeing up Chin for the overlap
  7. Great stuff from Maysie and Petty earlier. Keep smashing em
  8. I counted roughly 15 but that's fair also. Nick would be allowed another 5 meters!
  9. The ump had clear line of sight What a corrupt shizenfest this game is
  10. Yep but according to the AFL paid B****ters on 7 it was beautiful hands
  11. Possibly. In that case make it McVee. Tommo is the wrong option imo regardless
  12. Tommo on Cameron? Moniz by a Country road pls
  13. The boys appear to be 'ON' tonight. Zero expectations so nothing to lose. Just loosen the schackles a little Simon and aside from basic defensive structures behind the ball, no + ones early FCS and manic pressure when we don't have the pill.... let the boys play footy mate. We just might get close and even pull off a miracle win subject to the above.
  14. ....On being asked what he thought of the glorious game of golf, Loates smartly said: “Well, I think it is a good walk spoilt,” which it certainly is—unless you have a good flask of “whisky” tucked under one arm, and a good style of a girl tucked under the other, while the “caddie” potters behind, and does the golfing. (Sam Loates)...
  15. Sorry L but he isn't. His last few weeks have been bog ordinary.
  16. That is correct. Mcdonald is a good average footballer. No thanks. For as long as we persist with Stafford this forward line is toast anyway and will always be our Achilles heal. Shuffling the deck chairs for as long he's in charge.
  17. Yep great messaging to the 22. Play as badly as Fritta / Petty you'll keep getting a game Play as if your life was the line as the sub and you're rewarded with a return to Casey Goodwin has seriously lost the plot.
  18. There are more holes in that line up than a quality Sbrinz cheese.
  19. He's very lucky to be in the 22 given his form in the last few months. Unfortunatley Smacca hasn't stepped up (so far) and Melk is at least a month away.
  20. Berry's had the edge over Clarry for a while now if my memory serves me correctly. I'd play Clazz up forward alot more, about 50/50. His recent form is a mile off his usual level anyways so i'd just sacrifice it and ask the 2nd/3rd stringers to step up like Rivers, Sparrow (looked a tad better than previous games in the middle last week), ANB & a little from Koz. Koz shldn't be playing more than approx 20% in the middle imo as it robs us of an extra goal or so and we lose the best i50 pressure guy when he aint there. 38% CBA% so far this season (vs 11% in 2023) is over kill for mine.
  21. He might just end up being the find of the year (for us) in terms of the role change into the middle DZ.
  22. Fan bloody tastic and about time. For those who may not have the time to see much of Casey... Moniz has wheels, will look to bring run & carry overlap wherever possible. That's assuming he gets the license to do so from the bosses. Yes he can occasionally turn it over or push hard too early etc and get burned the other way, including from his own clangers on occasions. That aside i love his attacking run & gun take-the-game-on attitude and the speed he brings on transition between the arcs in an attempt to get the ball quickly i50. If we're going to play Rivers consistently through the middle from here then Moniz is a great foil in an attempt to make up some of what we might lose across HB in this regard. He also has VG closing speed and plays a tad taller than he might appear with the ability to spoil / compete in the air with somewhat taller opponents. That closing speed also brings fairly decent pressure / tackling on the oppo. Aside from Rivers finally getting a berth through the middle, and while i'm not expecting immediate stardom more just a solid / speedy / attacking brand, this is equally the best news i've seen all year.
  23. I don't mind him playing a game or two at VFL but i'd leave that call up to him after an open discussion. Excluding last week's game, which was hopefully an outlier, his 'ordinary' at AFL level is still as good as we've got through the middle aside from Vines. There are no other mids tearing it up at Casey and being held back. Even if there was there's still plenty of room for them with Tracc & Gus now gone.
