From a selfish point of view I'm so happy he isn't playing this week. It means no matter what I'll be there to see his first game back! Cannot wait to cheer Trenners on. It's been a long time coming!

KPDs take a long time. Anyone who saw the actual spud that Frawley was in his first couple of seasons or how Oscar's brother played in his first year will remember that they looked hopeless. Oscar needs at least 10kgs and 20 games to begin to look like a semi respectable player. Playing "softer" games like against Brisbane to gain experience is not a bad thing. It doesn't cost us much and it's good for his development. When half of Demonland wants Dunn and/or Garland banished to Africa, I'm not sure what the alternative is. We have to be patient. I see enough talent in him to justify it.

If players leave now, I just don't get it. Especially players who stuck it out through all the [censored] of the last few years. We are clearly on the rise. In fact I would argue that we are as well placed as any Victorian team to succeed (unless you're so damn impatient you wanna run to Geelong or Hawthorn and get paid peanuts). What could Tom McDonald possibly be putting contract talks off for? Unless he just wants a crapload of money.

The only thing is Pedersen can also go back and defend so he is very versatile. Good old brick hands can't do that nor can he really mark and his ruckwork is super average. I don't think you could argue that we've missed him at all.

Brent Harvey envokes vomit in me. I loath him and apparently he is also a tightarse, which is one of my most hated qualities in a human being.

Just think how much we've improved that we are complaining about smashing a team. It wasn't a pretty win, but winning ugly is an important skill to learn. To win ugly by 10 goals is even better. Take the 4 points and move on I say.
