  1. I also wouldn't blame him if he decides to walk, however I think it's nice of the club to say to him that we think we need to give youth a go but you are invaluable and we want to still give you a job and an income. This isn't the case for 99% of players who retire, and I'm sure he appreciates that. It is exactly what we needed to do with Junior, but of course we burnt that bridge like the unprofessional organisation we were. I would be thrilled if he stayed on as a development coach, and I hope that deep down he understands and appreciates that we extended his career by 2 years and potentially given him a role beyond his playing days.
  2. Lets just hope his manager isn't full of horse shite like the other managers generally are. Dear Melbourne, please give him whatever he wants.... money, cars, houses, prostitutes, the world. Just give it to him, lock him away for 20 years and lets all move on.
  3. I suppose we don't know that, but that he can't get a game in a crap side ahead of plodders like Spencer, says a lot. I understand totally that Gawn's development comes first, and I'm glad that we are giving him the #1 mantle. But with Frost assumingly not dead with that toe injury, I can't see us keeping both Jamar and Spencer. While Spencer is no good, at least he has more years in him.
  4. Really quite disappointed that we didn't give him another year. He has been great for our club, and his contribution on the field and off it has been invaluable. I hope he sticks around in a coaching role, if he wants to. Big shoes to fill. Thanks for everything Crossy, it's been a pleasure having you in red & blue!
  5. Who put a big stick up your butt lately? Sheesh. He's a first gamer, don't we have bigger fish to fry on the grill of negativity?!
  6. Deserves a farewell game more than Spencer deserves a games, ever. Has been a loyal, hardworking servant of this club and should be allowed to retire (I assume) with respect.
  7. Out: wasted weekends In: more free time to drink
  8. What did you want him to say "thanks to my teammates for being a giant steaming pile of talentless turds?"
  9. He looked nice and composed given the firing squad he faced. I thought it was a brave performance and I see a future in him. Needs a lot of weight and some skills sessions not hosted by brother Tom.
  10. Isn't that the saddest part of all? Well done Cross. I wish everyone else tried that hard.
  11. I just hope Jones is ok This year, like this game, is dead to me.
  12. And the saddest thing is- this is our best performance in a month #loweringthebarsince2005
  13. Well done Grimes Our use of the footy is bewildering and disgusting at the same time.
  14. I'm fairly certain or backline is now our forward line Jetta and Dunn as forwards, Garlett down back. And they said Bailey was tanking when he did that!
  15. Salem is a class above. I also like Stretch. He will be good just needs more weight on him. For a skinny kid though he is pretty brave.
  16. Even our runner is a [censored]
  17. Matt Jones. Just put on a Freo jumper.
  18. I will never support the Grimes haters.
  19. Jones is in a moon boot It better be his ankle and NOT the dreaded foot Breaks my heart to see him on the bench. Stinks!
  20. Whoever is playing on Pearce today deserves 100 lashings post match.
  21. Training drill. It's been very very bad. We can't get our hands on the footy and when we do we can't kick it. It's ugly.
  22. Better to give him a modest 2 year contract than trade him for pick 198 He is still young and has some good traits. Would be silly to let go of him when there are so many ahead of him in the delist line.
