  1. I only thought it was regulation because he played the game out against North and didn’t seem to be in horrible pain. But hey I’m not a doctor, much to my parents’ disappointment.
  2. And we still don’t know why he’s even out. I assume it’s not Covid or they would have announced it a while ago. His ankle must be stuffed. Two weeks out for a regulation twisted ankle seems excessive. Harmes has come back from a hamstring sooner!
  3. Langdon is literally the fittest guy in the AFL. You think two weeks off will mean he has lost his ability to run 15km? I doubt it.
  4. Dogs backline is why they’ll never win a flag.
  5. Covid? Still the injury? What is happening here?
  6. I know and I was also pointing out that he has not had a clear run with injuries so their entire article makes no sense.
  7. He’s also had a foot injury, Covid and an ankle injury.
  8. I don’t disagree but Hunt has been in great form doing a very important defensive job. He cruelly missed out on a flag last year and deserves every opportunity he’s had so far this year. Can’t see Hibbo coming in to replace him unless he’s injured.
  9. Culture is everything. This is not the early 2000s. It is vitally important that whoever comes into the club fits into the culture. Walker might be a good player but he would be a poor cultural fit. A club which just renamed itself after its indigenous name is not going to go after a guy who was banned for a racial slur.
  10. Disagree. Hunt has done a superb job locking down small forwards. Hibbo is unfortunately on his last legs.
  11. Gotta feel for Bedford. I thought he was very good when he had opportunities last week.
  12. Swap May with Tommo and that’s our best 22 right there.
  13. Lever, May, Pickett etc say no.
  14. I think A+ is too generous given we have played mostly ordinary opposition and still have a lot of improvement left in us. I think A is about right. We will know a lot more after we play Sydney, Brisbane, Collingwood and Geelong.
  15. Good. Now losing May doesn’t hurt so much.
  16. I swear to god if he gets off just call the AFL off. What a joke.
  17. Completely agreed. Furthermore if we don't keep giving the likes of JJ and Sparrow games, we are really doing ourselves a disservice, as we need to keep developing the next generation of midfielders. We don't have great depth in this area and IMO Sparrow has all the makings of a very very good inside mid who can also go outside and impact the scoreboard. He can be anything, but he needs time to develop and he won't have a better chance to develop than under 2 of the best mids in the competition (not to mention the best ruck duo and Viney protecting him). He is contributing each and every week, and even if he has a quiet game, he deserves to maintain his spot, especially as there is nobody at Casey knocking the door down in this role (and I would pick Sparrow over Dunstan every single day of the week).
  18. When is this going to happen? I need to know when to crack the [censored] as clearly he will get off.
  19. Particularly when his replacement was Dustan, who is so one dimensional and has very ordinary disposal. Harmes gives us a lot of positional flexibility as you say. It's also why Tmac is so important, because he can go down back and can even pinch hit on the wing.
  20. Can't see Salem coming straight back in. He has missed far too much footy and it's a big risk to throw him straight back into AFL footy.
  21. We won the minor premiership for goodness sake. How can people not recognize that we were by far the best home and away side in 2021? Mind boggling.
  22. We played a slightly better team
  23. Thank god for that. Keeps us 2 games clear of them and Freo play Brisbane next week.
  24. Might be a chance to debut if Petty is out too. Great to hear that Hibbo is finally playing.
