I've been a detractor but totally agree with this. He's unfortunately a pinch-role player. Week-in, week-out he isn't the greatest because of many of the reasons noted - his disposal and his natural game being a man-on-man one rather than a floating one. However, as a one-on-one full back against the gorillas (Hall, Fevola, Brown, Tippett, Lynch et al) he is absolutely amazing. That's his role, and why we didn't play him against West Coast and park him on Lynch is beyond me.
I'm a little disappointed, but not overly so, since I think he has good trade value - particularly to GWS (another first round pick, albeit a later one?)
