People seem to act like we made a huge error selecting Rodan and Byrnes but the fact is we needed experience and there wasn't much else on offer. Byrnes has been horribly inconsistent and while he has been completely missing from games has played pretty well in a couple. Rodan... well he is probably there for off field leadership more than anything as the club knew his injury history and the state of his body but there is still the rest of the season for him to show a bit on the field.

I would have thought by now people learnt to disregard Caro's articles. She speaks absolute garbage and that article is a regurgitation of what has already been written in the last two days by most footy journos, only with a couple of fabricated stories in there to sensationalise it a bit.

Might say something about the attitude of some players back then. Clearly the culture infection goes back a long way and probably started when those guys were around. Players being bigger than the club and refusing to admit that their time was up? Then the club may have tried to anticipate this with McDonald and stuffed up severely.

Terlich is way underrated by some here. Coming to the club his skills were highly regarded and although he looked a bit sketchy with his disposal the first couple of rounds, yesterday his efficiency was 91% which is pretty good considering there was often no one to kick to.

It just shows how unwilling our boys are to play for each other. Good local sides go hard for one another because they are mates, so what does that make the lads down at the MFC? Not just local sides, all good sides are willing to work hard for each other.

I'd say he'd still be a good 16kg heavier than Cale Morton in that one.

The interview is fairly good but not as refreshing as I thought it would be. Colin was honest to a degree but it wasn't really stuff that we haven't heard before and didn't have much of an impact on me but maybe I'm just numb at the moment. It was good seeing him front the media without Neeld there as I haven't seen many pressers without the coach at all.

That's exactly right. I feel like a Captain going down with his ship, there is no way I'll be able to pull myself away from the club unless it goes all the way down and is dissolved. It's a real pickle, we are doomed to be the butt of jokes forever and there is nothing we can do about it.
