  1. Lol there is one every week.
  2. Just consistent effort, improved pressure and no head dropping.
  3. On holiday in the US at the moment and saw the Mets/Yankees at Citi Field the other day. I was backing the Mets as I always back the underdog (probably should have gone for the more successful side) and surprisingly they won 2-1! It was pretty entertaining and some guy whose name I can't remember hit a nice homer.
  4. Thanks for the rundown, some interesting comments.
  5. Even if it is an assistant to whoever is in the full role, he'd be a great asset to the club. I don't want Lloyd anywhere near our club, if we are going down the ex-player road give me Neita.
  6. His self belief is admirable and you need self belief to be successful however it's probable that this is very misplaced.
  7. Is it a case of the way the game is played is evolving again and we will again be left (even further) behind? Probably.
  8. Really good point, that has been the case far too many times in the recent past.
  9. It's common knowledge that we need to rebuild the club and the list, not an excuse. Could another coach be doing better? Maybe a tad, but there is not a chance that we'd be coming close to finals; we are too much of a basket case and there is a lot of work to be done.
  10. I'd say it will take him roughly a decade to be able to get down all our issues on paper so don't hold your breath Striker. But seriously I'd say late this season he'll probably be reporting his findings to the AFL. Whether or not we get to see what he comes up with, who knows.
  11. We need the right formula of people at the club - it isn't just a case of change the coach/players and everything will be sweet. We need a capable board and President (McLardy is miles off what we require), some more decent players and probably a new coach. It takes a while to find this formula but it can be done and I think Port Adelaide are a good example. We just have to find ours.
  12. Though I didn't see the game I saw that the Pies still laid 90 tackles - I wish we could that. It's clear that they work for the ball when they don't have it, but it looks like the Swans were just too good.
  13. Has to earn a game first. I think Johncock could be a decent pick up, in better form than Rodan was anyway.
  14. Good post there mate, I like the optimism and it is refreshing to hear. You make some good points but I fear that it could take more than maturity to shed the mental baggage of the last couple of years.
  15. Okay mate, so what do you think the club should be doing (training-wise included) to improve and start winning games?
  16. Yet your contributions (personal attacks on everyone who doesn't think we are cruising along on the road to glory) are fantastic contributions. Keep up the good work champ!
  17. Is that you Mark? This sounds like a post match presser!
  18. Thanks for the updates!
  19. And we can't hold onto it because we can't hit simple targets.
  20. I don't think we are too bad at getting the ball at the moment, we just turn it over because we can't kick or kick to terrible options.
  21. How about some skills/decision making? Wouldn't hurt.
  22. Stock standard to show the supporters they are aware i guess... doesn't really have any other purpose
  23. Of course they wouldn't join the forum but to think that people involved in running the club don't come on here at all is ridiculous. When trying to drag a club out of the shite and attempting to keep the supporters as happy as possible, how could they ignore this source where they can easily gauge how the more dedicated supporters are feeling? It'd be stupidity if they didn't come on here at all
  24. I spoke to a guy who claimed to be the cousin of Watts after the West Coast game and he said Watts has absolute faith in Neeld and his mates are all at the club... whether or not it was actually his cousin is very debatable.
