  1. I refrained from checking it for a few days and then saw the explosion of posts, so thought it might be time to check again. I feel dumber for having done so.
  2. I can see him getting it back quickly. A successful culture will reinvigorate him, because he's clearly not the type of personality or player to take it upon himself to get the best out of himself week in, week out, regardless of the team's performance. He'd been hanging his head at the Dees for longer than just this year.
  3. Come on mate, do you seriously think that Strauss' value has actually improved over the duration of his career?
  4. I don't know why but the excessive exclamation marks make me question the validity of your post.
  5. 3, Watts, Strauss, Blease, Terlich, Spencer and Evans? Sounds good to me.
  6. So just to confirm, so I don't show up too late/early, it's an 11am start? That's 11am after the clocks go forward?
  7. Surely sarcasm? Griffen is still an awesome player and I'd definitely entertain a trade for 3 involving him and something else back.
  8. And next year I'd expect we'll be significantly behind the other clubs (who'll no doubt be led by Hawthorn, Sydney and Geelong) in terms of attractiveness for Paddy and we'll have lost our edge.
  9. I agree. Far less attached to the prospect of picking up Stretch than I was with Viney. The club has enough sense now to do what's in the best interests of the club.
  10. I hope they enquire about him this season. I'd take Greenwood for Watts every day of the week. Sadly, North probably wouldn't.
  11. What would you deem 'an appropriate level' for the interchange cap? I'd like to see it set at around 80 per match - the current limit of 120 doesn't seem to have much, if any effect on the way the game is being played.
  12. He's clearly a [censored] but just looking out for the interests of his own club, which we'd expect our CEO to do.
  13. He is great! Saw the Mazerunner the other night and I definitely do not recommend it. Cool concept and based on a book which I haven't read (think it's aimed at teens but gets good reviews) but the script was atrocious, the acting nothing special and although the first half was watchable it spiralled into rubbish the last hour.
  14. He did, but unfortunately not at Melbourne.
  15. Tend to agree Machsy. To me Varcoe is definitely the kind of player who does well in a good side, where other blokes are doing the dirty work, but will struggle in a trash side like our own. I'd rather go someone who is seemingly of less 'value' but contributes every week and competes consistently. Hopefully they'll offer something better.
  16. Cameron would do more than nicely. I think I'd be more excited if we picked him up than if we snagged Dangerfield.
  17. Oh yes, I didn't think of the restricted/unrestricted issue.
