    No one is going to nominate Melbourne as their preferred club. What ever happenned to players not getting a choice in where they were offloaded to. Seem like the players have all the power these days. Bring back the meat market.

    The Dustin Martin article was us announcing the fact that we have contacted Martin's management (http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2013-09-16/dees-wait-on-martin-management). We were telling our supporters that we were keen if he was keen. I think the Dew article is telling us is that Dew is the one that we want. I will admit that that does not mean he will necessarily come due to his contract with Sydney but I believe that the Dees are saying that he is definitely the one we want for the position.

    The official site posted the following article on their site today: Dew still in senior assistant coach mix I think he will be a Demon very soon. The official site does not post articles like this unless it is a done deal. They never post rumours. Expect an announcement soon.

    Me. I'm a Dawks supported and we just won the premiership. Hey why is this forum called Demonland. It should be called Dawkland. Oh did I mention that I am from an alternate reality that split from your one in 1996 when the once mighty Melbourne Demons merged with the Hawthorn Hawks. It's been smooth sailing for the Dawks since the merge. How has it been for you guys? Thanks to all the Owners, Mods and helpers of Dawkland for keeping this site going. I forgot how ugly the Melbourne jumper without the gold hawk was. So plain.

    So what you're saying is if they have beef with a certain poster then they could cross reference a posters email address from the Demonology database and the MFC Membership database and potentially get access to all your private details such as name and address, credit card info etc? This is very worrying.

    I guess I must be in the camp with those who don't think this is a done deal at all. Someone will need to be busy in the kitchen because there could be quite a few big bowls of disappointment served up soon.
