Bailey Humphrey
Are you basing Bailey wanting out of the GC based on a cryptic song choice on social media by a guy who might just be enjoying his time off at home in the country visiting family and mates? If he was so desperate to come home then he would request a trade home. This simply has not happened and is not being spouted by a media that would love to run with such a wild story.

Bailey Humphrey
From Gold Coast's perspective they are just taking a stand and setting a precedent for their young interstate players that they will not be allowed to break contracts. Let Bailey go and they could open the floodgates.

Until we draft another Jeffo and Laurie.

Bailey Humphrey
Love or hate the guy Tom Morris gets very good mail. I think people on here need to come to terms with just getting picks for Trac and abandon this pipedream thinking of landing Bailey Humphrey. He is simply not coming. Prepare for a big old fashioned bowl of disappointment if you are going to cling to wild stories from random posters with no track record about secret meetings. Absolutely no journalists are running with any stories about Bailey Humphrey requesting or seriously wanting to get out of Gold Coast.

The List Manager Tim Lamb
Honestly I think we would be thrilled with a straight swap for Humphrey. We'd also be thrilled with 2 first rounders. We would have got more last year if he was willing to go anywhere other than Carlton or Collingwood. Now I fear we will get pick 7 and change. He's obviously worth more but I don't think we will force him to come back and will end up being the ones that blink first. I'll also add that I think that the Suns are probably slightly overvaluing Humphrey.

Lamb is most definitely in the hot seat this trade period. His position at the club will be untenable if he doesn't make the most of the Petracca trade.

Bailey Humphrey
I reckon both clubs think that they're holding the best hand here and are waiting for the other to cave. This will go down to the wire. Anyone thinking that we will get more than a straight swap of players and a trade of later picks is delusional. If we can manage to steal a straight swap we will have come away as bandits.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
a lot of liniment sniffers are quick to dismiss the 22 dees that actually slept through these matches but hold a grudge on what an opposition player did 2 decades ago.

Training Ground?
at this point I won't believe or trust in any news on this front until i actually see an earth mover breaking ground on this facility. we have been promised so much and received absolutely nothing.

surely worth a rookie listing.

How you doing?
Jeezus. some people need to take a break from social media. i'm as sad as the next guy with a droughtbreaking flag coach getting sacked but I'm sadder with the direction the club has gone since winning the flag. i'm not ok where we are at as whole from the on field to the off field and everything in between. also everyone is entitled to their own opinions. positive and negative and everything in between. no one should be gatekeepers.

Or maybe they know that their main target isn't available until next year.

PODCAST: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
Clarry deserves a lot of kudos for everything he's been through over the past two years. He's clearly faced challenges off the field, working to get both his mind and body right. On top of that, he’s had to endure an incessant and often cruel media pile-on. To come back and embrace a new role is something that should be commended. The media seems to pick and choose which struggling players they target, and unfortunately, our club and our players often seem like easy marks, while other clubs get a free pass with barely a mention. But I digress. Clarry's form has been up and down, and perhaps other issues have affected his performances at times. Still, talent and class always find a way to shine through, and I think we caught more than a glimpse of that on the weekend. I love Clarry.

PODCAST: Rd 08 vs West Coast
There’s been some debate on the podcast about whether Jack Viney is playing a traditional tagging role, but regardless of the label, one thing’s clear: after a quiet start to the season, Jack has turned back the clock over the past three weeks. He’s been a relentless bull in the midfield, delivering some of his best footy. This is the exact response and leadership you want to see from your senior players.

PODCAST: Rd 02 vs North Melbourne
Our disposal was absolutely amateur hour causing damaging turnovers. What made it all the worse was there were many occasions where a player with the ball showed absolutely zero awareness of their surroundings and was caught holding the ball. So disheartening and I just can't see us climbing out of this hole and it's only Round 2.

PODCAST: Practice Match vs Fremantle
I'd love to hear the panel's thoughts on how we utilized Kozzy in this match. I understand that he’ll be unavailable for the first three rounds and that this game served as a dress rehearsal for Round 1, as well as for navigating those early weeks without him. That said, it’s still crucial to get game time and conditioning into him, given that he won’t play for five weeks and only managed a quarter yesterday. That brief stint, however, was enough to remind us just how impactful he is. His absence in the first three quarters starkly exposed our deficiencies in the small forward department as well as that impact player in the middle. We're going to feel his loss significantly in the opening rounds. Simply put, Chandler does not provide the same output. And if we do lose Kozzy at season’s end, which I fear is a real possibility, we’ll be up the proverbial creek.

PODCAST: Match SIM vs North Melbourne
It's fantastic to see the poddie back, guys—I'm really excited about the upcoming season. When we traded for Harry Sharp, I must admit I felt a bit skeptical, since I'm always cautious about players who haven’t secured a spot in a top team. Considering we’ll be losing Nibbler’s contributions as a defensive half-forward, do you think Sharp can fill that role? I was especially impressed when he kicked four goals on the forward flank. How do you see his role evolving, given that he can also play on the wing?

The AFL 2025 Fixture
I really don't mind the Thursday night matches from a neutral spectator at home perspective. I don't want the Dees to get too many Thursday nights as it's not great for our crowd numbers.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 11th November 2025
Can any of the track watchers elaborate on what Petty was doing at training? Was he running laps? Participating in drills? Last year he had the preseason from hell. Would be great for him to get an entire preseason under his belt.

Could Carlton try to use Pick 3 for Petracca? Would you take it?
