i love the optimism here, no doubt caught during the highly contagious last quarter but did you guys watch the other 3 quarters? And all other quarters this year baring some glimpses in the game against the Eagles. I also point you to exhibit A from round 1 last year. I dearly hope I am proven wrong but I find the optimism here after one quarter of decent football to be premature. Just my two cents. As i said I love the optimism but I have supported this club for too long and have had all the optimism sucked out of me.

We can beat GWS but that doesn't mean that we will with our confidence in the toilet. There is no way we can or will beat Brisbane at the GABBA. If we could not beat them Round 1 at the G last year then there is no way we can hope to even come within 100 points of them at the Gabba, I like people's confidence but I have watched us the past 3 weeks and at the moment we wouldn't beat Dimboola 3rds. That's what I'm talking about too and as a lifelong supporter and member I find that abhorent and worse than any poor administration or coaching. It's the players being completely selfish and putting themselves above the club, above us as supporters. I could understand if they were rebelling to oppose poor working conditions or because they were being paid below minimum wage and working in a sweatshop with no dental plan but FFS need I go on.

Intentionally lose or not play at their best just to spite the CEO/The Admin/Board/Coach? I keep hearing this as a possibility to explain the poor performances and if true then this is even worse than tanking and is completely guttering for supporters who bleed for the club. Say it aint so!

I agree. I do however think that members should be refunded out of the salaries of the players.

Having seen the address and seen how the players played I now know why our players play like they do. That speech was so uninspiring no player would put their nuts on the line for him.
