I got a post on my Facebook timeline from the Melbourne Football club urging fans to add the Melbourne "frame" to their profile pictures to "show your support" to the club. Now I don't have a problem with this but I really don't think anyone will see that "frame" on my profile picture and associate it with the Melbourne Football Club. Note that if you do this to your profile it will take your current profile pic and just add the MELBOURNE banner to the bottom. Jonesy won't be in your profile pic. I realise that it is going to take time for a rebranding to take hold and for the public to recognise that it is associated with the footy club but I think they should keep the Demons apart of it or even include the current logo. I also think we need some sustained success and get our players mugs and their club branded polo shirts and footy jumpers in the paper and on TV. Also we need to ditch that horrible white away guernsey.
