The AFL/Tribunal will not back down on this one lest it create a precedent of players appealing decisions. I think the whole system needs to be overhauled. Why not be judged by a jury of their peers? Perhaps 12 current day players. Not one would have convicted in this case. Then again there would probably never be a conviction.
