Amazing list of experience. Good mix of business, not-for-profits and sports. Liked this one: "Throughout her travels, she spent time with leading organisations, such as the New York Yankees, Washington Redskins, New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Manchester United FC, Arsenal FC, LA Live and Madison Square Garden." Make her the successor to Roos!

This could be true, the counter says...1/ they are using up a lot of resources managing a player that looks set to self explode 2/ reports now are they paid 480k, not much less than the original offer of 500k 3/ using a top 3 pick on an "inexpensive out" is expensive (even though we took $cully and Trenners at 1&2) But you are absolutely correct in that his manager should be condemned.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - DANIEL CROSS
Moonshadow replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think I read on here that Misson has little sports science qualifications, just footy experience. Not sure. But if so, i would have thought he'd be better off working under more highly qualified pros. -
Every hill in Melbourne was windy yesterday. And today.

Don't bother Sue. You know what they say about arguing with a fool. Your assessment is spot on.

I bet Schwab watched the GF alone at home in his pj's with a hot cup of cocoa. Burnt all his bridges but still claiming the credit for building them. Sad really.
-
Really good interview. Thinks very deeply, talks like an experienced media professional. He's right, with Clark and Hogan firing and he as a strong role player our fwd line looks sooooooooo much better.

I usually have you on ignore (what a great little feature of 'land), however I think you need to read again the two sentences you wrote above. Firstly because you spam threads over and over without adding anything meaningful (eg, GF day), and second because you persist with little pieces of information that are either already common knowledge or untrue. Respect is earned. Please try reading more and posting only when it really adds. This is the internet, if you think 'land is disrespectful, you may wish to avoid the other footy forum sites. 'Land is generally well behaved and certainly well moderated. Finally, if you are feeling depressed, consider contacting Beyond Blue ph 1300224636 or lifeline ph 131114. I am serious.

With that thought in mind, should we consider trading out Trenners before the AFL, ASADA and WADA get stuck into him? Don't want to, but I wonder if Messendon are thinking of a pre-banned player fire sale. I have absolutely no idea of Trenners supplement status, but I'm guessing the Club sure as he'll does.
-
Honestly Demoneye, you add nothing to this site but spam.
-
Not sure I'd want anyone from Messendon unless they were cleared of potential suspensions.
-
Apology accepted. Try not to do it again Tangles.
-
No thanks Lobby. Just a room for one for Bitty, a padded room.

There's a lot of broad speculation there fella. The world is full of ifs. Can you give a link or source to these suppositions?
-
Easy up Tiger. Play the ball, not the man. BTW, have you had any restraining orders for stalking? Thought so.

Just read in the Age that the Tas govt sponsors the Hawks to the tune of $3mill per year. FMD. Winners are grinners.

Don't reply to him and he'll eventually go away rjay. Better still, ignore function works grand.

She canned Martin as a bad influence on the club and gave her blessing for him to move on. She painted a very poor picture of him in this article, where she bluntly alludes to the reason for his mess being "crystal clear"Martin move best for Richmond And now he's signed on again for 2 years, with no other club wanting to go near him. Great spin by the tigers to claim victory by allegedly paying him about 10% less than first offered (big deal), nevertheless, they could not get what they wanted in return for a potential trade. What they did wrong was not offload him and get even a half decent draft pick in return. Hollow victory tigers.
-
Didn't he just sign for 2 yrs?
-
Hope so Spirit, but too many recruiters have seen him and rate him highly. Would love him to slip, but can't see him slipping to our 2nd pick unfortunately.
-
Geelong rate Horlin-Smith very highly, they talk about him as leadership material. Heard Ling and Balme praise him in the media.
-
2nd round pick for Higgins? That would be pick 18. Would you rather have Higgins or have Z Jones or L Dunstan or J Kelly?
-
Now that would truly cap off a wonderful year for us, wouldn't it. Trade for player X only to find him banned or 4 yrs. Very Melbourne-like.
