So that would leave us with picks 9, Silvia compo (21?), 38ish and a rookie upgrade pick/s around 70 and 88. Bugg, Buntine, Vince, Michie, maybe Crouch (9) and Z Jones (21) and possibly Cross as a DFA. Not bad.

Got to say Ron, I honestly think GWS don't have a cap. The AFL lets them go for whoever they want and funds them to do so. When it comes to the new franchise success, they use Messendon's motto, 'whatever it takes'.

Disagree about Boyd. GWS would only trade/pass on him if they had got Buddy. They need another KPF to compliment Cameron and Patton. We traded for Mitch, Dawes and Hogan because we knew 3 big forwards are ideal. Unless another team offers a ridiculously good deal, GWS will not let Boyd slip. But I agree that we only trade 2 for something worth if, otherwise it will get us a very good draftee.

Lol! Are you for real? There was heaps of "good stuff" from u12's right through to seniors for GWS. He's a hard at it, skillful and quick gun. This guy would have probably gone top 5 in his year and now has two good years development in the big time. Worth pick 2 any day. IMO he'd be our best mid by far if we got him. Aish may also be a gun, but most of his work is outside and he's stick thin. Hmmmmm..... Sheil = hard, skilled, proven, contested gun ready to go. Aish = thin, outside, skilled, AFL unproven interstater who will maybe overtake Sheil in 3 yrs. Know which one I'd want. Lol!

You are correct there nut - he could, in fact, have got a loan from the bank. And he should have. It was apparently a bridging loan which we gave him at a cheaper rate than the banks. We subsidised his personal finances. IMO it was inappropriate to give our CEO a financial when we had just crawled out of a large debt through supporter donations. We are not a bank. I seriously doubt we offered loans to lesser employees of the club. Schwab may write very well, but his repeated conflicts of interest as football CEO were far from professional
