  1. Given GCs demand of an 'elite' player in return, what would the Hawks need to offer? Rioli?
  2. The club must obviously believe he can continue to improve. Good on him. What's his most pressing need to work on over summer? Tank and speed?
  3. Are you going to follow him? Only joshing Saty. Hope you thanked him on behalf of all of us.
  4. Bad, bad move, but I'd like to see it happen!
  5. Of those options only the 2017 first rounder is an established player
  6. I'd consider barracking for Collingwood if the Dees recruited Boomer. No shite.
  7. Or maybe the club did it's DD and Prestia's knee didn't come up. I'm a fan of Mitchell and would love him at the club at the right price. Having said that, I hear every Hawthorn fan thinks he's going there in 2017.
  8. Come on stu, no need to pick on a newbie. Let's see how it pans out and take it from there. I'd like to believe Mitchell would be in our sights and OTF is right. Are you saying you'd not want him at the Dees?
  9. Your up late for a grade 5 kid with poor literacy TOW
  10. No Biff, it can't be polished, but it can be rolled in glitter.
  11. You could sculpt one out of your stool Ethan. Might be quite a work of art. You could title it 'The Tremblay Danger'
  12. Yes, good points HBT. With a good preseason I am optimistic his 2017 will be a big one.
  13. Different culture at Sydney re Aliir. Can't imagine Sydney handling succession planning this poorly.
  14. His calves won't stand up to another year. Good luck to him at another club.
  15. His boss Nathan Buckley did not offer him a "ridiculous" pay rise. Dawes was head hunted by Neeld supposedly with a pay offer of around $500-600k. Probably in the top 2 or 3 paid players on our list. He would've known the expectation to perform for that amount. Yes, we had to pay someone to get near the SC. Yes, he's a mentor to the young guys. Yes, he had old man's calf and an assortment of other injuries. Yes, he gives his all when he's on the park. Regardless of these, it would be fair to say his 4 yrs have been underwhelming. And comparing a sportsman's pay with the average Joe is not apples and apples.
  16. Don't hold your breath waiting for a response pal.
  17. Please let this be the beginning of Norf's drop off the cliff. Hope these 4 spit the dummy and the end result is a disaster for the club.
