  1. I hate the filth. 3 magpie attacks in the past month have deepened my hatred. I reported 2 of them on magpiealert.com.
  2. I wonder if his alter ego Jordan Jones will also be leaving.
  3. I've had the 'pleasure' of seeing how he conducts himself first hand quite a few times. Dreadful man. Shame, because I loved him as a player.
  4. I'm so disinterested in the remainder of the season. I'm in the MCC GF ballot, but if I miss out on a reserved seat, I won't bother going to the GF to get one of the walk up seats. Hopefully the filth and Carlton will be knocked out in the Prelims.
  5. I think that reaching a Prelim would have been a pass mark. And preferably not getting thrashed in the Prelim. I think we would all have been OK with that. Going out in straight sets has to be considered a fail.
  6. I don't understand why we don't win more centre clearances.
  7. You need players with good foot skills to play that type of football. We don't have too many of those.
  8. Who is that Hogan guy? He looks pretty good.
  9. I was actually more upset after the filth match. However you dress it up, the team choked. Not much consolation, but I put $100 on the filth, and $100 on Carlton. At least I've seen my team win a flag. Which I never expected would happen. Tis a lovely day ... I've been for a nice bikeride. Longer one scheduled for tomorrow.
  10. Like so many others, I feel totally flat after the Maynard debacle. I'm going to the match tomorrow. I guess I'll get my mojo back by then. Hopefully the players do the same, particularly at the start of the match!!
  11. I don't understand why our opponents seem to dominate centre clearances, especially at the start of matches. And particularly as our midfield personnel are so highly rated.
  12. I unfortunately saw the beetroot faced/triplechinned/boofhead on the news. I wish I could unsee that. He fits in well with Joffa and the rest of the filth people.
  13. I query why Andrew didn't run the "he chose to bump" argument, at least in the alternative ....
  14. They'll go through the appeals process first. If Maynard is suspended, and the appeal is dismissed, they will definitely go to court. Zero doubt about that.
  15. My former neighbour played rugby for years, at a relatively high level. He was prone to being very aggressive ... I witnessed him going from talking calmly to losing his temper/shouting violently in seconds. He drove me out of my old house. I didn't feel safe living next to him. (Inner city/terraces houses very close together, and there was an 'issue' between us.) I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt by presuming he had/has CTE, rather than him simply being a psycho. He seemed to exhibit classic CTE behaviour.
  16. Does anyone else remember when he was on the radio? (927) A most unpleasant stupid man.
  17. He won the appeal because the appeals tribunal ruled that the original tribunal member has misdirected himself before making his decision. He didn't win due to a re-analysis of the incident.
  18. If the dog gets off at the Tribunal, I presume/hope that the AFL will appeal. Obviously the filth will appeal if he is suspended. So given the likelihood (inevitability) of an appeal hearing, the decision of the Tribunal hearing may be largely irrelevant. Except perhaps to give the filth an additional ground of appeal on technical grounds (as per the Cripps case, when the appeals tribunal ruled that the Tribunal had misdirected itself). FWIW, if the appeals tribunal upholds a suspension, it is inevitable that the filth will take the matter to court given the huge stakes.
  19. Sportsbet odds Demons $1.66 Blues $2.23. These odds seem ridiculous. Should be pretty much even money.
  20. Not a good idea to read their comments. Only gets you riled up. I didn't attend KB match because I hate being around those disgusting subhumans. I relented and went to the QF.
