  1. I would've thought that he'd be a lockdown FB
  2. 100% agree. They've added players that will enable them to be more competitive than in 2015, and I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them in the top 6, but I just think there are too many holes in their list and most of their young talent isn't very impressive. Their 2015 trade period is just prolonging the time they stagnate before their inevitable fall.
  3. Why not? Either of them would immediately make our team better and wouldn't require the development that a draft pick would. They're also both proven high-quality AFL players, whereas draft picks are purely speculative. By the time 2017 rolls around, we should be a very competitive side and be looking to top it off. Prestia/O'Meara would be ideal targets for us.
  4. It's not Roos' fault that Terlich can't execute basic fundamentals of the game. He is definitely a trier, but he would never get a game in a successful side. I watched a replay of our 12 goal last quarter against GWS the other day. I admire the way he put his head over the ball time and time again, but the number of times he fumbled, lost possession, dropped simple marks and shanked kicks was unbelievable.
  5. We'll need to significantly improve the delivery is he's going to get near 100.
  6. It'll be interesting to see what the Suns do with their captaincy, and whether the result of that has any bearing on Prestia/O'Meara's contract negotiations. The Age reported yesterday that they'll likely appoint a co-captain for 2016 (along with Ablett), and Prestia is one of the frontrunners, along with Lynch. My guess is that if he is appointed co-captain, he will re-sign. If he isn't, he'll be in red and blue next year.
  7. At least at this stage we seem to have a lot of young players that are driven to succeed and willing to lead by example that won't be forced into the top job before they're ready. It's nice to have a few potential candidates for when Jones is ready to relinquish the leadership, which hopefully won't be for another few years.
  8. Based on photos, he's back training and is bigger and scarier than ever
  9. Which would help our prospects of luring Prestia/O'Meara. I reckon if we can get one of the two want-away Suns, we'll be seriously competitive in 2017.
  10. I agree that in the long run they'll be okay, and I think they did well in trading Danger rather than accepting the AFL compensation, but I think they will fall a bit next year due to the Danger loss.
  11. As good as Crouch is, they're still operating at a loss there.
  12. What does this [censored] need to do before he starts having to deal with some serious consequences? He's supposed to be a role model.
  13. The poor guy was a scapegoat in an embarrassing time for the MFC. He deserved to be treated a lot better than he was.
  14. Essendon and GWS also beat Hawthorn last year, but I can't see them in the top 4. Anyone can beat anyone on their day, but it's about maintaining consistency over 22 round + finals that determines who's the cream of the crop. Can't see Richmond doing that...I'd be very surprised to see them in the top 6.
  15. Thanks Demi Dee. Any word on how Brayshaw is going/what's up with him?
  16. I like this, nice and simple. Maybe change the font, but otherwise it looks awesome.
  17. It's definitely been said before, but this time there is truth to it.
  18. Can't see Grimes retiring...I'm sure there would be some interest in him from rival clubs, and I think he'll be offered a new contract with the Dees. My guess is that he'll be wearing yellow and black with his brother in 2017. Not sure where Watts will end up, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him test the waters.
  19. That would mean no improvement. I'm confident in saying that they'll be wrong. We may not make finals, but we'll improve on 2015.
  20. Go with the old faithful and put up Sylvia, Moloney and Scully
