The reason Demons supporters have being sooking for the last couple of years is because we seem to be the guinea pigs for rules & punishment. Garbage. Get on your high horse all you like but the law is the law. You take illegal drugs, you run the risk of being caught and punished. The afl shouldn't condone illegal drug use

I emailed the club and asked them to pass on my thanks to Don for sticking up for the club publicly. Garry Lyon should be given a pat on the back too. Looking forward to our players sticking up for the club on the field in 2013

Hopefully the fine isn't as large as has been reported, however I'm glad there Is no talk of draft sanction or premiership points. The new footy dept should not be punished, and it seems as though this will be the case

I agree with what you say nutbean The investigators probably think that for Connoly to be 'joking' then there must have been some discussions about tanking or the priority pick to provide context for the quip to be funny to those that heard it.

Heard this morning that officials/coaches are also prohibited from using banned drugs according to AFL rules, its not just limited to the players. If this is the case, then Dank's interview landed the bombers in hot water. Perhaps their playing list wont be banned but surley they'll be taken to the cleaners?! Although the investigation is turning into a keystone cops effort, with the recovery leading up to the anzac day clash being scrutined, in a similar way that they singled out the richmond game for our saga

Hows these bomber blitz quotes; Yep, getting very unfairly treated by the media. A bit like the accusations against the Demons for tanking when they did nothing other clubs have done (not us BTW) and have to read ignorant guff in the press like deliberately not playing Sylvia in that Richmond match when in fact he was suspended that week. And accusing Melbourne of 'fumbling' - they don't have to try to do that. Demons supporters must be loving that another club is getting a raw deal from the media. Melbourne and Essendon should play off for the Wilson/Smith Cup. Whoever wins is immune from having them write articles about them. This may be incentive enough for u to finally beat the Dees.
