  1. I really dont know which side of the coin to back with the whole 'Rest the best' Vs 'All go again' debate. I'll back the FD to make the right call, potentially a mixture of both approaches.
  2. Agree. Think he deserves a game and no better opportunity to give him one than this week
  3. Dedicated to the hapless sides that face our front half press. Also a dead set banger 🌶 https://youtu.be/CgSiTNJKUr0
  4. No idea why people don't love Browny. Great person and champion footy player, in his Twilight years but shouldn't have his own teams fans wishing him into retirement
  5. Still rate the tigers but I think the showdown result shows the form were building (crows are a decent side). Take the 4 points and move on.
  6. Keen to hear Binners thoughts on the Crows last quarter. Do you think Burgo had them doing a loading block even though they probably miss the eight, or was that just pure hunger?
  7. Hunter won't be dropped. Having a brilliant season imo. Hibbo is a good in. But won't be for a tall. Probably comes in for Bowzer or McVee? Both stiff. Interested to see if Grundy comes back this week or next. If he does, does Roo come out or BBBB? I think we can only play with 2 of 3 in the team.
  8. Win is a win. Im happy enough. We're still tinkering to find the right mix but still winning too.
  9. If we want to finish top 4 we need to win this sort of game. Glad this match up is at the G. Even missing key personnel I think we'll win well. Dees by 30
  10. I was using WCWs comments around everyone saying he's a legend as a process of elimination It's an interesting topic I assume in this case there's a familiarity bias or something- the Demon Army are always around the team so I can kind of see how they might not get as much attention from some of the players as they probably deserve - less effort put into each interaction because there are more of them?
  11. Given Barass seems to be open to leave WCE I'd be surprised to see Thommo get much more interest than last year
  12. Good changes. Bring on Sunday
  13. I hate the AFL. Constant tinkering of rules, fixtures and structures. Just leave the game be FFS!
  14. Good list. I loved that come from behind win against the dockers too. Austin Wonaeamerri game
  15. I think it can still work but the undeniable fact is that both players have played their best as a sole ruck. Will be an interesting run home for numerous reasons but I feel like this sub-plot will get alot of attention
  16. Joeboys 3 word analysis is must read demonland gold everyweek. Long may it continue
  17. Spargos form line is all to do with trying to be too cute imo. Went from being a low fuss, high effective kick - taking the first, best choice - to trying to break tackles or dummy and be super cute with his kicks. Just needs to get back to basics imo
  18. Latley I can't help but view our games through the lens of the podcast discussions and specifically Binmans fatigue hypothesis. When we were 4 goals up before we had time to blink I felt that same feeling of 'That son of a [censored] is right' - reminiscencent of when we belted Freo at Optus last year after Nostradamus Binman had called it from a long way out. The rest of the game obviously was a bit of a different story but the way we ran out the game was a massive tick. After that game it's hard not to be outwardly bullish about the rest of the season. Sorry for the rambling comment. The actual question I'm keen to ask is who comes in for Petty (who needs to get himself right). Thommo, Smith and Hibberd would all have legitimate claims
  19. Also the Melksham contested mark before Kozzy goal
  20. How good was Rivers play to rebound off HB to make that forward play that resulted in the Milkshakes mark and goal. Kid will be a recognised star of the competition soon enough
  21. Stayed off demonland all match because I couldn't bare to see the usuals potting the lads when we're were looking almost gone. What a win. This is a spring board win- confidence and momentum in spades
  22. I'd think the Grundy omission is 60% for a look at a different structure and 20% to give Max a proper full game in the ruck to find his mojo and 20% to give Brody a rest Strikes me a little like JVRs recent omission. Sure, he wasn't in hot form, but the FD took a look at something different and in doing so freshened up a key player
  23. Loved the podcast as usual, I feel myself flip flopping and siding with different panel members all the time; 'Angry Andy' firing up about us potentially not being as good as the ladder suggests Positive Binners reminding us that a 4 goal win against the 5th ranked team is a good result (after a 6 day break from the Alice no less) George giving Gussy Brayshaw a big wrap for his versatility All great shouts
  24. Lions are notoriously weaker at the G. But we're not at our best, and were still missing Clarry. Keen to hear what the pannel sees as the key to winning this match. If it's the midfield, can we afford to play Trac in the guts or is that robbing us of the most likely goal scoring option with no Fritsch. Seems to be a conundrum!
